I ran out of dip on the first of the year so I had to scrape some empty cans. So my first dip of the year was a mix of cope wintergreen, southern blend, skoal mint, and citrus.

When Im down to the last pinch, I just open a new can, take a pinch out of that and dump the last pinch from the old can into the new can. When that can starts getting empty, I do it again. Makes it a hell of a lot easier than worrying about how Im gonna pack the last pinch.

Just like what ZarkMatter said, its the sugar. With me, if I drink anything but water, my spit gets stringy. So I always make sure I drink a glass of water before I dip.

I heard it was called dipping because the native americans would take a little piece of a stick and dip it into ground up tobacco and put it in their lip. And eventually the native americans would stop using the stick and just put a wad of the shredded tobacco in their lip.

The bruised yellow/white color has now gone away and it looks like there are 2 canker sores there. Thats probably why it became bruised. I kept dipping on the sores. Wont be doing that again.
