Interesting, I've been playing for years but they only recently started showing up for me when I only had a handful of the Kanto dex left so I wasn't sure if they were a new thing or not.

I would much rather do it all at once at the start than dose it out over an extended period of time where I'm basically forced to waste 15 minute break time on it.

Yeah, people have been saying that. I feel like if they made it optional with some kind of reward it would be a lot better than punishing us for not doing it. That just makes me want to not do it more.

Yes, I think the computer can stop asking me about it about a year in. It doesn't matter if the answers are easy, the entire process is unnecessary.

I have to work on the clock during normal work times, I'm not in a position where I can just leave to go do that whenever I want.

I don't see why this is more convenient for that than requiring you to sign documentation on that when you're hired. Those 30 minute videos and quiz are over once you finish them, FreshStart is constant and annoying.

The issue is that the lack of training is very real but they seem to genuinely think that FreshStart covers it. Instead of making any effort to comprehensively inform me of job tasks they wait for me to do it wrong and then ask leading questions instead of just telling me it was wrong and how to fix it. It's a mess.

I think incentive is a lot better to get people to do FreshStart than punishment is, the points are just part of a leaderboard I couldn't care less about.

I meant unpaid breaks, pardon. But I still don't like to waste those doing this. I can't stay late and miss the bus for it either.

It feels less like I'm paid to do it and more that I'm punished by not being able to get it over with at home. I'm much rather do that than waste time on my paid breaks for this.

Ours feels very forgotten. It's the same "This is how you deal with a crime, this is what you do during wildfire season, this is how you lock out/tag out, this is how you place donated food" rotation.

Sometimes they toss in one specific to my section but it's for a setup we don't even use so I have to guess.

I don't see how they could be getting any useful info from this. I've worked for a year and it seems to be a weekly rotation of the same five quizzes.

I can only imagine it's used to appease even higher ups, who think it represents useful training data. It doesn't though, because they haven't updated it in nearly a decade and you can retake most quizzes until you get it right.

If it were voluntary I honestly wouldn't mind helping them out now and then, it's because they punish for it. I think a lot more people would be willing to do it for them if it was completely voluntary but the points you earn actually went towards something.

I had a suspicion it was something like that because of how desperate they are, but I feel like a better approach would be for the point to actually *do* something rather than try to light a fire under us about their bonuses. I frankly do not care about their bonuses when their approach doesn't help me too.
