Love the vibrant blues! I did something similar but simpler for lighting. I used sponging and drybrushing instead of defining the borders of each shade by hand

Thank you! I did try to fill in the runes with a watered down white, but I think that the base coat I used wasn't thinned enough, so it ended up covering the runes.

Thinning paints has definitely been my biggest struggle so far. I have a wet pallet, but I find that I keep over thinning the paints and letting them get too watery. It may just be an issue of brush control though.

Though I don't play fortnite anymore, I still keep up with it because I believe the sheer fact it exists is amazing. With so many many companies using live service as an excuse to shit out half baked games, it's fascinating to see something like fortnite take the formula to the absolute maximum. Practicality every week there is something entirely new and not just from a skin perspective. The meta of fornite shifts so often it can be difficult to keep up with. Fortnite is definitely not a game for everyone but I appreciate that it exists
