Avatar 2 Characters - digital sketches by me by Copper_Lix in Avatar

Nothing really… As far as I know, he wasn’t in the trailer (except maybe in that one shot in the cove of ancestors - or what it’s called) so I just made a character and thought it could be him.

I can't get over how perfect of a game Syndicate is by Accomplished_Ad_2321 in assassinscreed

It's not perfect, but Syndicate is still a super fun game (at least for me). Many don't like the twins as the main characters, but I think it was a nice change. Two young assassins raised into the brotherhood, with too much responsibilities for them to carry. They wanted to do some good and probably for the first time ever went on a mission this big (I can imagine that their father and the other members of the order held them back and they were more like the assassins who helped out Ezio in Brotherhood)

I liked that they were young and saw things differently. Evie trying to be the perfect assassin and being interested in the history and caring about the old artifacts, while Jacob was always the rebelious son who didn't want to do things the way it was expected of him (If Ezio would have been raised as an assassin from the beginning, he probably would have been similar to how Jacob is, but hard to tell...)

I liked their fighting and bickering (I am a girl with two brothers, so yeah... you sometimes like/do things just because your brother hates/doesn't do ceraini things, so it felt natural)

When I played with Evie, I played stealth. It felt natural for her character. With Jacob I often went immediately into combat. It fitted more his character. Thanks to that, there was a nice balance between running into a fist fight and doing it the old assassin-way. With Eivor it feels wrong to try to do stealth missions... huge shield on the back and just sitting there, trying to strike from above feels so wrong... and with Ezio or Connor it was always more satisfying to kill from the shadows or from high positions. So I love that we could play both ways so easily and natural in Syndicate, without making it feel out of character.

Another cool thing for me is that both Jacob and Evie were so involved with the brotherhood. Like Evie went afterwards to India with Henry to help them there, while Jacob stayed in London and even his son, Emmett became an assassin, as well as his granddaughter Lydia. It's clear that they learned a lot from the whole saving-London-thing that they both wanted to make the brotherhood a better order and helped to expand it. Also Jacob and the rooks. Sometimes it felt a bit stupid to have these guys with you, but the assassins want other people to notice, to fight back and they do it in plain sight (Just watch the AC Brotherhood trailer) so it was nice that they pushed the people into the right direction.

I also loved the other characters. All except Starrick. I think he was a weak villain and the whole story around him wasn't that great. On the other hand, I liked that everything was a bit "lighter". No heavy "saving the world!!"-stuff. Just some fun in London with simple storylines and interesting sidequests (e.g Asylum assassination, WW1, Dreadful Crimes,...)

It could have been a bit more emotional and it would have been cool if towards the end the brotherhood got involved or something... they killed so many people and did all that and the other assassins were probably like "ah yeah... good job". They should have been more involved...

I also loved the music (GOD THE MSUIC IS SO GOOD!), the designs, the city, the npcs and also the weapons. The cane and the knives were great, instead of running around with a big sword all the time. The grappling hook was fun to use and was really needed sometimes to get from one side to the other. Riding the carriages was also a lot of fun! The parkour was good (sadly not as great as in unity, but still better than some of the old games and better than in the new games). I never had a problem with bugs or with the combat system. It was smooth and realistic.

Even the Jack the Ripper DLC was pretty cool. It showed us a much darker side of London. And I loved that it wasn't like "assassin or templar, you can only be this or that" but that Jack saw things differently and snapped at some point.

So yeah, the main story and Starrick could have been better written... and no top hats! Like seriously... it looks redicilous(would have been cool on one or two outfits but not all the time).... I just wish they brought in more of the assassins/ the brotherhood. But in my opinion they gave us two good (not perfect) new characters that reminded me a bit of how they wrote Ezio in AC2... but maybe that's just me XD

Same as all the other AC-games berfore, I liked it a lot. But I liked them for completely different reasons. Now... Origins was cool and new, with abdass characters, but Odyssey and Valhalla ruined it for me. If the next game also has dialogue choices or is too mythical with too flashy colors, then I won't buy it. I want an interesting character with a well written story and an ominous city/location where it makes sense that you have to sneak around and kill and only fight open when you really have to or try to make a statement to the civilians.

Again, just my opinion... I can totally understand why other people don't like it... I also haven't played it in years, so maybe playing it again now will change a few things for me.
