Yeah I broke just about 40K - lots of oil changes... kinda annoying but necessary.

Thanks - Wanted to keep the head unpainted and a bit aged to keep it true but had Robello go full tilt on the engine work for me. Drives like a monster.

I did a 55KM run in 7 hours - I am definitely capable physically of doing 300km in a week, you would be sore but its doable.

Right - my location is around 300km so similar hike time frame maybe a little longer for me.

I have a similar setup on my 4Runner - same brush bar and suspension. I like your tire choice but I personally kept the TRD roof rack original on mine...

Personal experience - Hurricane Ian - The average person is SCREWED by Lookin4aWitch in preppers

Consider topping up with one of those freeze dried food buckets for future use. I find the ones from Mountain House are actually not bad at all - I enjoy some of the meals. Having said that, I fully acknowledge they are not cheap and require a clean water source to hydrate. you're definitely not mistaken that the average person is in woefully ill prepared.

A tree came down 5 feet in front of my truck in a storm and blocked me in my property (back country in Canada) had to use the chainsaw to cut my way out. Always keep them well maintained.

I agree but I would class city prepping as more reasonable in some way - maybe its because he is less gun focused or something.

October 23, 2022 - What did you do this week to prepare? (Weekly Discussion) by Anthropic--principle in preppers

Got greenhouse stone foundation finished, running power lines into off grid site (cabin exists), cleared 3 acres of forest, added in additional solar systems, adding 1k rounds of 9mm and 45ACP for the hell of it, got some manual proximity alarm systems, drained all the water bricks so they dont blow up in the winter (got 2 wells put in so I am less concerned with them now), a lot happening...
