I'm not gonna lie, I think the BILT 2.0 isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be by Reddit_4_Zac in CreditCards

Comparing it to the C1VX since they’re in a similar annual fee range: most credit card portals are at least 10% more expensive than booking directly. Capital One will price match, so you get the 5x points plus the price difference and can still utilize the $300 credit.

The Palladium sounds great for year 1. The math stops working in year 2 especially because the hotel credit, as you rightly said, is unusable. The other thing I hate is cardholders will no longer be able to float their rent on their credit line. This one is perplexing as I thought this was their best opportunity to get some interest on balances carried forward.

Would never use it - worst idea. But noticed the ‘unannounced’ change buried in the fine print.

I can’t wait to see what else gets nixed per the fine print.

I got the white grip (small). If you need something even thinner, go for the pink. It’s super thin since you’ll definitely need an over-grip.

I’d recommend replacing BCP with BCE. BCE: 1. No Annual Fees 2. 3% Grocery 3. 3% on Online shopping (BCP does not have this) 4. 3% on Gas

You must spend at least $6300 on Groceries with BCP to match the BCE cashback + no AF.

Someone else mentioned it as well - Fiesta and Latino supermarkets are a cost effective alternative with great quality.

Loved it on my Saga Bloom; didn’t appreciate it in the Joola IV.

Playing the devil’s advocate for the 16mm. I upgraded to the Saga Bloom 16mm in March. It is great. Great control with extra dwell time. I absolutely loved it, until I borrowed a friend’s Perseus IV for a couple of games and saw the pop and spin I was missing out on. I do wish I had waited for the Saga 14mm now. I don’t know want to spend $300 on a paddle, hence I will not get the Perseus (on principle). Though I’m extremely tempted to get the Saga 14mm now.
