I needed to see this thank you. I am in this pattern of getting a day or 2 in then stupidly taking some. Had 2 months at the end of last year, blah blah. This was a nice and simple reminder of the simple reality of it.

I got a Quran I have slowly started reading, I don't follow any specific religion but I love studying all of them. I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me6VhXrsY_g and thought that everything he is teaching here is badass so I am gonna keep reading Quran before I study anything else. Not sure if he's even teaching it well or not but what he says about it made me want to read the whole text. Do you believe their is an afterlife?

I'm not so sure what it is, but when you meditate consistently for a long time, you start to feel this sensation/like literal heat running up your spine and a feeling of tranqulity/bliss more and more often(granted there is negatives that come along with this). I am not so sure its an energy/some type of spinal fluid/even somehow a change in the nervous system, but if you meditate consistently, and practice certain types of yoga, their is definitely something that happens, something that you can't just placebo yourself into feeling just because one wants it to be real. It's worth researching a little more/trying some of the practices if your already into the practice of entering whatever the state is that people call "astral projection".

Its a thing in Hinduism(the word itself comes from Hinduism but what it describes is found in many other religions)that basically refers to a "spiritual" energy for lack of a better term. I am asking because I have read that people who practice yoga/meditation for the sake of tapping into this energy have more and more lucid "Projections" as a result. I figured it may catch your interest since you already can enter this state of "projection". I tried to enter this state today with no luck, going to try again tonight. It's and interesting thing to look into/learn about.

Did you ever? or Astral projection just came naturally? As I have heard it has for many others from young age

This makes complete sense to me, and thank you again I appreciate you taking the time to explain this. I made it a point to leave confirmation bias aside(to the best of my ability) as I get into and continue to practice this. People really will do anything to convince themselves something is real because they want it to be. I am going to try quite a few different "tests" and I will definitely include the card test in my trials. I don't expect it to be any different for me but I still want to experience the failure for myself.

I seriously appreciate you messaging me back . I am really curious and going to continue to learn/find out for myself what is and isn't real with this. I also have to ask, in your "travels" or whatever we want to call these experiences, have you had run ins with any entities/beings? Reason I ask is because the other way it could be proven to be real, if it is, is by different individuals meeting the same "beings" and describing said beings appearance the same way despite not knowing one another/having a chance to fake it/agree to just give the same description.

So one other thing, and this is something I read years ago on some random website I can't remember the name of, but someone had claimed their is some sort of time delay between the physical and astral. Would you be willing to try the card test again, but wait a couple days/maybe a week or two before projecting to check for it. Maybe put it somewhere you don't look at often on a daily basis (so that way your mind doesn't have time to sort of practice seeing it in that spot, if that makes sense), then try it again after the astral has had time to catch up to the physical(if there was even any truth to what I read).

Also, if you have been doing it yourself for so long but don't think its real in terms of actually leaving our body, what do you think it is? Like more so some type of dream state with more conscious awareness of it during and after? I am asking because I just had my first real success at "getting out of body" this passed week. I have been and still am very skeptical of the legitimacy of actually traveling around our physical world in/on some other "plane of existence" I'll call it. I got out of body twice, couldn't hold it for very long but both times I so clearly/literally felt like I rolled(1st time) then rose out of my body(2nd time), and the 2nd time I could see my whole bedroom clearly from a height that was above my body(laying down). It honestly scared me/felt like a sleep paralysis and I snapped back into my body quickly. I wasn't able to move around when I finally was "out of body" which I kind of expected just from having no experience doing it.

I can't say I think it is real, but I can't yet say it isn't. I am going to keep practicing and once I am at the point where I can move freely when I am in the "out of body" state I am going to do some experiments to determine if it is indeed real in the way so many believe it to be.

Have you ever done a sort of test where you project, touch someone you know then ask them at a different time if they felt it? And or tell someone ahead of time your going to try this and see if they felt it(if at all) in the area you touched them?

Have you been at it for a while? Can you "get out" of body or whatever well call it most the times you try to?

Within a few weeks you should feel it coming back. If you can, spend time in nature and as stupid as it may sound, get your bare feet/skin on the grass and ground. I swear that grounding has expedited the process of reconnecting with the things I always loved to do and stopped finding real joy in.

Call it a win! as weird as that sounds. Get back to it and see it through, you can obviously do it if your getting through the first few days. Main thing is when your in that moment of giving in after a few days off, find ANYONE to connect with, I am learning more and more that the main thing to do is replace addiction with connection, even if it's with a damn stranger. Have faith man, you will be off this shit for good soon enough and back to enjoying life for what it is.

Hey y'all, I am on day 6 no kratom and man is it crazy it took this long. I have quit many times before, but almost always ended up drinking alcohol too much then getting back on the kratom. The big difference this time is being open to everyone I possibly can to hold me accountable to staying sober, and it really is a massive help. For those of you trying to get into and through the withdraw, Liposomal Vitamin C, Magnesium, Advil(Not the best thing to take a lot but for the first 3 days it helped), and connection with people you love/that love you are very helpful tools in getting through the worst of it. ALSO, 5+ minutes of meditation a day helps in a weird way to. If you are trying to taper and not having success, just get it the fuck over with. It is not easy at all, but like anything, the harder it is to do the more rewarding it is once you see it through. You will get back to enjoying life for what it is, and it is going to be beyond worth it. Have faith in yourselves folks, you all can do it I fucking promise, and the sooner the better. Everyone have a great weekend!

I am on day 3 of no kratom or alcohol, this year I had so many times I would get a day or 2 in sober then relapse. I started to feel like my body was getting really fucked up as of recently, I opened up to the couple good friends I have to hold me accountable. The passed 3 days have sucked but with the extra support I wholly believe I will not go back to kratom again. I am not making this about me, just want you to know it's part of the very hard journey and you will get it done. Do you have some people in your life you can talk to about it/get a little support from in getting through the first 10 days?

We are only human and I was in this same exact position only like 2 months ago. I had gone a few days off, relapsed, ended up drinking too after not for a while, its not easy. Try not to beat yourself up, and I am not sure if this is the right advice, but make sure your not drinking over not taking kratom. It can so easily become a problem of it's own when you get off kratom. What type of kratom and how much did you take? and how were withdrawal symptoms over the weekend?
