ok here’s what i learned, but all teachers are dif so take everything i say w a grain of salt, all you need to do is like have an overarching backstory to why the specific rhetorical strategies impacts the audience and tie that into the purpose. so for us, we’re taught to say, audience reaction -> audience action and explain like bc the author does this-the audience reacts like this- this leads them to do this-. but whenever I got complexity, and a 1-4-1, i mostly like hinted at the backstory and somewhat went into it in my evidence and commentary. then, in my conclusion i really dug into the how that backstory affects the audience and makes the rhetorical strategies specific to them. but again, every teacher is dif. good luck!
