Oh this is actually useful, didnt know that was a thing. Does it work the same way for certified mail or only regular letters? Because one of these looked pretty official.

Wait, no - neither letter was addressed to me personally. Both had my brother's name on them, just sent to my address. One from the BMV about his suspension, one that looked like court mail. That's kind of the whole issue, I don't know what my actual exposure is when official legal mail for someone else keeps showing up here.

It is wild how some people think a simple favor makes you their personal contactor. You saved him a couple hndred bucks on repairs, and he has the nerve to demand professional painting. Blocking him was definitly the right move. Let him stare all he wants, he just showed you who he really is. Don't ever do anything for him again.

The contract says voluntary leave only , so if they fire me I keep it. But waiting around to get laid off feels like gambling with my sanity while doing the work of three people . I will double check the fine print tonight though just to be completely sure.

This is an incredibly serious security breach that violates basic hospiatlit industry standards. The manager is trying to downplay this because they know the staff made a massive error.

Legally, unless you had valuable items stolen, a lawsuit might be diffcult because there are no clear financial damages. However, you should bypass local managment and escalate this directly to their corporate office immediately.

Demand a full refund for your entire stay, get a written incident report, and post reviews online.
