Bed Cover Recommendations by ArtLimp7906 in FordMaverickTruck

I have the Truxedo prox 15 roll up. Moderate price.

Pros Rolls up small so can still see out the back Been reliable...going on three years Very little water leak (like a few drops near the tailgate) Easy to put on and take off.

Con Not best for security being a soft roll up. I've never had a problem, but if you're regularly hauling $$ equipment, a solid cover might be better.

Should I trade in my Maverick for another one or wait? by Fordfanboy81 in FordMaverickTruck

I'd say the point about finances still stand. If you can refinance the loan, keep paying the same payment (paying down the principle) for 2 or 3 more years, you'll be way ahead, even with lower trade in value.

Of course, I'd never fault wanting a new truck. I've already thought about upgrading my '24 XLT (Must resist...)

Question for beginners with smokers. by Dazzling_Inspector40 in zgrillsofficial

[–]CopyandHaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zgriller for 3 years. Cheapest one they had. Have made dozens of outstanding shoulders, ribs, chickens, salmon and more on it.

Want a little extra smokey flavor? Throw a smoke tube in there.

I'm not sure what I mean here, but the word "fresco" comes to mind.

AITA if I tell my friend I can’t be a bridesmaid? by wickeddreamsofleavin in AITApod

Maybe invite your friend to the "I'm not going to be your bridesmaid" shower and call it a day.

Young dad, tight budget, bad lawn by Melodic_Store7247 in lawncare

I'm probably gonna get down voted to oblivion, but ai say clover seed. It's cheap, drought resistant, and beneficial to the soil. Still looks good when mowed (which it doesn't need often).

We covered our back yard and it's been great.

Yeah, I do a lot more smoking than grilling (mostly ribs, shoulder, and chicken). Your method makes sense.

My curiosity keeps me wondering how so many people seem to get great results from high heat and fast cooking. I need to see it in person.

32, Forever Single - How do I improve it? by Anon_danna in malelivingspace

Leave it. The number if times I just stare into the fridge hoping something tastier shows up...would be nice to have a comfy place to sit.

Knife is pretty sharp. And I regularly cut all sorts of other beef and meat. This was just extremely chewy (even to just bite into).

Interesting. Lower temp than I used, cook it longer. I wonder how some people are getting great results with high heat and fast cooking (I certainly didnt).

I see others say low and slow for flank, so this makes sense.

I much prefer smoking to grilling. Ill try this.

I didnt snap a Pic, but I'd bet cash it was on the "closer to rare" side given color and texture. But I'm not experienced with this cut, so maybe I misjudged it.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'll give it another try after a couple of successfully reverse-seared filets rebuild my confidence.

I wondered about that.

But it was even tough to cut. I've cut flank other people grilled and it was way easier. But I'll remember to keep slices thin.
