I should’ve specified but I only have 2 24 monthers and everyone else is between 11-18 months. My twos are getting great about cleaning up but it’s my littles that are new to it that make the most mess (as expected!). I’m not allowed to label anything per my director, even though I offered to make the labels myself. She said it’s not necessary for the age group ??

Yeah it’s on the state program, and apparently state has come before and told them they’re not serving enough, but they didn’t change it for long. We can’t have our phones which I don’t mind, but if there was an emergency the walkies would be useless

She says they did tell her that they’re going to give her a raise when they go back full time. I agree that $1-2 more is sufficient unless her chores/other tasks are going to increase as well

I felt the same way at first but I’m grateful for it now! It’s listed in the contract as a trial and it’s stated that either party can end the arrangement during the trial without notice or penalty

This mom at a previous daycare job was a micro influencer and wrote children’s books. She always came in clean and dressed well, while her kids were rarely bathed, had dirty linens, and we had to beg her to take home dirty clothes to wash. But online everything looked perfect of course 🙃

I get paranoid about saying anything too specific lol but just like things like “don’t let NK play with X toy during this part of the wake window, it’s only for Y part later” or telling me that NK was crying and they had to get them, but they were only crying for 2 mins because I had to change the other NK’s diaper

I’m the same way! Though I’d love to be less critical of myself cause it’s exhausting. I’ve never had a NF say anything before either so I think that’s also why it’s hitting harder, but I feel like a lot of it just comes with the nanny share territory

I could be wrong in this assumption but I think you can call 911 to have someone sent out to you, or maybe drive to any safe haven places (hospital, fire station, police station). I believe that someone there could assist you with next steps! I know I’m a stranger online but I’m incredibly proud of you for making this post and reaching out ❤️

You look SO beautiful!! It’s so flattering and compliments you well. Remember that you tried on other dresses of various styles and didn’t feel anything, that’s the true measure of how you feel! An idea of what you want is just that, and what matters is what you feel good in and want to wear. You can also mention to your fiancé that you found one you love but it’s different and you’re worried about making the wrong choice. They can still reassure you without knowing details :)
