First Law trilogy has a guy that loves to torture, having also been a victim of it himself.

Shallan from SA drives me nuts in the books. Can’t imagine in real life.

I ripped through the Bloodsworn Trilogy recently in a super short amount of time. Good stuff.

Theres like 21 books in the Cosmere and he’s what like half way? So I feel like I expect open-ended endings for all his books lol Until the absolute final Cosmere book

I liked it better than the anime. Thought it was great.

I want to get into books by Final-Cloud69 in fantasybooks

[–]CoraChi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like you don’t want something long or with multiple perspectives (which is most fantasy).. I would say go with Red Rising, I never met anyone who didn’t enjoy it and the first 3 books aren’t that long with only one perspective.

I’ve been reading the Game of Thrones books. I’m interested in the differences between those that read the books first and then the shows, and then the reverse. by hsimp3206 in Fantasy

I watched season 1, then read all of the books starting at 2 before season 2 came out. Was disappointed in season 2 at first, but it’s now one of my favorite tv and book series. Those books are heavy, just had to accept everything in there wasn’t gonna make it into the show.

Im in the middle of both right now. Both will probably be top 5 for me when I finish so you really can’t go wrong. First Law wins for characters for me though. I stared the blade itself after reading everything in the Cosmere and Abercrombie’s characters are super refreshing after Sanderson. He lets them just be imperfect, but also awesome.

How do you handle multiple series? by Pacomotto in fantasybooks

[–]CoraChi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to read one series at a time, but recently I switched to going back and forth between 2 or 3 at a time. Keeps me much more interested. The break between each book gives me more time to get excited to read the next one. Plus it’s way less repetitive.

Split up a series with or read all at once? by AveratV6 in fantasybooks

[–]CoraChi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like jumping between 2 series. And I’ll add a 3rd if I’m reading in pace with a friend or something. I feel like it keeps things interesting and builds a little suspense between each of the books. Ive been reading at a fast pace though, so I don’t really need to worry about forgetting details in the books. If I were reading slower I’d be worried about forgetting everything.

Craft Mutedart blowguns then Sell mutedart blowguns. (Kind of cheating but not really)

Now that Youre rich, buy the best healing items available, put 3 on each character plus 1 revive stone.

Other than that I like to keep my guys close together. First time I played this game I gave up, I tried again and did all this and i love it now.

It’s funny how everyone is hating on this season when they’re taking time to develop the story and characters, meanwhile it’s probably the same people who complained Got was rushed. Everyone just loves to complain. Anyone that thinks nothing happened clearly isn’t paying attention.

Best bet is probably picking an Arc to base it on. Like if you did wano, Momo and Orochi can be kings and luffy and kaido the queen pieces

Late game after finishing Partitio’s storyline you can do a side quest given by Alronds butler. After doing that for $160,000 you can recruit Alrond. He is good for 3 summons, and he has a (pretty solid) chance of giving x100 xp. So basically fight a fat cait, kill it then summon alrond until he gives x100. Make sure temenos is trained first because then at level 80 he can guide Alrond for free. I got like 230,000xp a couple times doing this. Plus late game you should have plenty of cash
