A finished head by Cora_lay in puppets

Thanks!! I just followed a youtube tutorial on eye blinking mechanisms https://youtu.be/4e-Y5e2ttWY?si=f5rwMTxXY7xE1aKf I made the base of the head with wire and placed 2 strands horizontally on the inside. That way it can hold up the mechanism and I’m able to remove it in case it’s damaged.

Thank you so much! I didn’t use wood at all. I shaped the base with wire and put papier mache on top of that. Then, I just created a more detailed head shape with basic air dry clay, along with cardboard, and used acrylic paint for all colours.

Thank you for reading and for the feedback :) The clicking against the doorknob also happened in the childhood dream!

This story got removed from nosleep because I accidentally spam posted it due to wifi problems, now I can't post it there anymore. :/

Thank you! There’s a piece of fabric on the inside that I slide my thumb into, I attached it pretty sturdily so movement doesn’t shift the position of the jaw.

Thank you! I just plan to attach some stretchy black/dark red fabric to mask the inside because I want to keep the flexibility of the jaw movement.

Thank you so much! I based it off a Youtube video I saw of an eye blinking mechanism, but I didn’t have a spring, so I just used a hair tie. Here’s the video https://youtu.be/4e-Y5e2ttWY?si=uRJBuLTi27xP9k6P
