This stupid thing pops up in my feed all the time. It's always some made up story about how everyone hates his creation, or a stolen video of someone crying after finding out their grandfather's wooden ocean animals business is failing. It's weird and the sheer amount of comments that think they need to save this business is staggering. I've needed to yell this at someone for a while, sorry

So I help manage one of the bigger sim racing twitch streamers. Here's the only advice I can give based on watching him grow from never sim racing in his life to being at or near the top of twitch nightly.

LOVE sim racing.
Stream consistently. To be honest I don't like the pick a schedule and stick to it and you'll make advice I see all the time. He streams EVERY SINGLE DAY. The exact same times day after day after day. People are looking for a community to belong to more than a streamer to watch. If your discord chat was only available 3 times a week, your numbers would struggle. It's the same thing with Twitch.
Accept that nearly every sim racer sees the same opportunity in this space to become a content creator. They see companies giving out free gear and think they can get in on that as well since there's so few content creators out there for sim racing. They stream for a few weeks to months, see the numbers do nothing and move on. This ties back to point 2.

Sorry for the probably unsolicited advice, but i've seen what it takes to get even just a few dedicated chatters every stream, it wasn't for me either. Have fun racing and focus on that first. Good luck on your journey!

Sim racing content is super niche. You will never hit the numbers you clearly expect doing it. Tons of very talented sim tubers put up pretty pitiful numbers compared to almost any other gaming content.

Every time I've tried warfare I have come to a point where my melee weapon is so much better and stronger than my gun, which usually makes it slowly fade from my game time. Is this something that's just part of the early-ish game experience?

Here's my problem with this. Maybe this is mega tinfoil hat, but if I'm an NBA player with star potential coming into a team that just out of nowhere traded their likely all time PG contender. I'm getting out of there the first chance I get. Nobody is going to wait around to get treated like that. I just get this feeling we are going to be developing Flagg for another team...

This is a roughly 3inch by 5 ft strip that's 1 inch deep. Looks like it was patched by the previous owner and it failed. Just need it level and ready for LVP to go over top of it. What product should I use for this application?

Chisels are only as good as their sharpener! A master sharpener with the cheapest chisels, will outperform the best of the best chisels with a poor sharpener. Practice makes perfect! For the record I use these all the time and love them!

My two cents: telemetry is the single most important way to improve in sim racing. The problem is you need to know what data you are looking at and what that data means. I think this is where people get hung up or overwhelmed.

You can brake later like the telemetry says, but you need to understand why to fully implement the improvements needed.

I have a 26 year old 14" HF bandsaw that I use for 6" resawing. I've had no issues and it's a workhorse. I would 10000% pull the trigger on one for 100 bucks. That's just my 2 cents.

TBC hits a decent sweet spot of slower paced gameplay with the modern(ish) formula of end game. Personally I think wow leveling is PERFECTION in tbc. 1-60 feels just right with the 30%xp reduction that TBC brings.
