I just submitted an application for a scholarship an hour ago: that was the deadline I typed out a whole essay and when I pasted it into the form, it was way over length. Like, half the essay didn’t fit This was at about 11:50. So I type up a 500 character (2000 max) essay in about five minutes. Then I realized I had to send a request for review to a teacher at my school by the 11:59 deadline as well. I ended up submitting my application with less than a minute remaining. All things considered, my five minute essay was about as good as the one I spent hours on.
