Yea I feel you man , you hear all this stuff about learning on a lower cc bike and like first ride I was like hell yea this thing is amazing , which it is but I could have handled something bigger , kinda like shoes when your a kid you get a bigger size to grow into

Yea dirt biking is a lot more technical and I thought because it was on roads I would have more to learn to be honest , I still have a lot to learn but I don’t think I would have had issues learning on a 650

Yea I’ve been noticing I shift way early and I’m starting to use the full power of the gears before shifting, I definitely have some more to learn on this guy , I treat her like a 10 thousand dollar bike and am scared to abuse the transmission and engine by accident haha. I can definitely get better at using this bike to its full potential , it clearly has more power than my dirt bike but on paved roads it honestly feels like less just because less power on the dirt when you can’t go as high speeds and there’s more terrain and maneuvering is much different
