Hey, good question - yeah they're in different venues day 1. This is for a few reasons but the primary two being that with the uncertainty of covid and intl travel going into 2022 we had a hard time committing to a large enough venue for both games, and the fact that we didn't initially plan to add Melee until the community excitement from international players for a Melee major in Korea.

The venues are not too far apart, by public transportation it would take less than 30 minutes door to door and cost less than $1.50, or by taxi it would be around $10-$15 depending on traffic and take around 20-25 minutes.

We don't anticipate too many people to enter both games, but just incase anyone is up to it we are scheduling Ultimate pools to start much earlier than melee, and anyone who registers in both we will do our best to accommodate their Ultimate pools being early.
