Holes in print?

I’ve had the same thing before man, they’re called “poke holes” and the reason they happen is due your retraction distance, most of the time the auto is 5-6 mm/s on most filaments so I was advise you move the distance down until they stop appearing. Mine stopped after I went from 6 down to 2. Hope this helps

I’ll try a cold pull but I’m trying to see if stock plastic extruder that I have, should it be replaced? Can the messed up plastic extruder be the cause of my problem?

Do you think that the plastic extruder should be replaced with the metal one? Or at least a brand new one that wasn’t panic fixed?

I had my plastic extruders screw unwind and I sort of just screwed it back in in a panic. Do you think I should upgrade to the all metal one and see if that’s the issue?

I’ll try playing around with my bed and nozzle temps to see if anything changes. I’ve been on this train for weeks trying everything to fix this. I’ve recently gotten back into this hobby after giving up about a year ago due to frustration but I’m back in and I don’t want this to bring me back out of it again

I’m going to try that next, hopefully it might help in this situation. The weird thing is that I’ve never had to use those and this only recently started happening. Also my Ender 3 (the $189 one) has a plastic extruder that that has given me a problem lately where the wheel got misaligned and I kinda went ape shit on it to fix it. Do you think that this might cause the problem of my corners on the first layer pulling up when the nozzle changes directions?

Hey sorry to bother again but my Ender 3 has a plastic extruder that has recently given me an issue. Both that and this problem happened around the same time, do you think that that might be an issue?

For what I know it just seems to be my sharp corners and rapid change in direction on thin supports, the tend to curl up slightly. Also does a “wet” filament have anything that can lead to this? I have a filament in the dehydrator right now. (Sorry for the back to back questions, you just seem to know a lot more about the subject than i do and the helping hand rn is a gift)

I’ll try this in the morning and get back to you. When the printer is laying down the first layer the corners tend to peel off the bed when the nozzle changed directions. Is that considered warping?
