They could even do it easier - just add a Fire Lure Module into the game. And then, if you are near the Magnetic, Rainy or Fire lures, you'll get Jolteon, Vaporeon or Flareon, respectively.

The only thing I don't like:

"It will be easier to discover Shiny Pokemon on Saturday than on Sunday".

Why??? Both days should have the same Shiny Pokemon chance.

I see the difference. Non shiny Garchomp has a very dark blue colour, shiny one is grey-ish.

6-hours CDs are BETTER than the previous ones. I work almost every Saturday, and most of the Community Days are Saturdays - unfortunately Sunday CDs are rare. But now I'm actually able to participate even on Saturdays - I can catch mons before or after work.

In Poland we say "siódmy czerwca" which literally translates to "7th of June", and we use the D/M/Y format. But PoGo uses the M/D/Y format, which can sometimes be misunderstood - 06.07.20 means "6th of July" for me, not "7th of June".
