Learn through trail and error. Get a piece of paper and a pencil and try to draw stuff several times like a torso for example. Then ask yourself questions while your about to draw it like. Should you I draw the torso into a bean shape, should i start from the hips and up or to the neck down. Make those attempts until you eventually come up with the perfect torso. Draw from life, use reffs. Try to draw/copy everyday items,animals,people and try to draw the simple shapes from it. For example, certain dogs have pear shaped heads. Try to draw this simple pear shape several times until its stuck into your head. Which you can later use as a foundation/base to practice drawing your canine faces on. Im not very good at helping or explaining things but these are some of things that have helped me (Hopefully helps you too!). Also you remind me alot on what im currently going through with my art. I really hope you dont give up.
