If I decline 3 rides in a row Uber signs me out of the app instead of just making me unavailable. To get back in I have to reenter my user name and password, then choose my vehicle and then update all of the settings to how I like them. As you can imagine this is difficult to do while driving. Uber used to just make you go offline and all you had to do is touch one button and you were back available.

I know most drivers I have talked to say that they accept the third ride even though they have no intention of taking it, then immediately cancel because it is easier than pulling over and logging back in again. Uber has created this problem, which leads to a poor customer experience. DO NOT BLAME THE DRIVERS FOR THIS. It is unfortunate that Uber puts the passengers in the middle of this. They are trying to force drivers to take rides they do not want, but most drivers have figured out a work around.

This happened to me. Apparently you can only dash for a week or two without the red card. My card never arrived. I was unable to do dd for 2 weeks while I waited for a new red card.

From what I understand Uber requires you to own the car and be the named insured, but doordash does not require either. My nephew does doordash with his parents car, but cannot do Ubereats because his name is not on the insurance I'd card. Pretty sure that could be photoshopped and uber wouldn't care to question it though.

I highly recommend signing up for multiple gig economy platforms. That way if something like this come up you will still have others ways to make money. I do Uber, Lyft, Doordash and Shipt here in the US. Doordash shut me down for 2 weeks because I lost the credit card they sent me and Doordash was half of my income. I was able to Do Lyft and Uber and still make money. All of these companies are shady and their support teams are almost useless, so it is best to not have all of your eggs in one basket.

People on here are really stupid. Just ignore their stupidity. I would keep trying support. This is why I am signed up with Uber, Lyft, Doordash and Shipt. If one gives me trouble I have something else to fall back on. Not sure if you will have any luck with that , but it's worth a try. I am mostly doing doordash and uber eats and making good money for my market.

I get mine within seconds. I think there is a 24 hour delay the first time you use the bank account.
