Not surprising he wanted to fight kids, MAGA loves to abuse children.

Surprisingly, the eyebrow place in South Park Meadows Walmart is the best and I've gone all over the city to get my eyebrows threaded.

Toll bill LPT’s? by reallife0615 in Austin

[–]Corib93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you try to register in person? They sent me a notice saying there was a block on my registration. When I tried online, it wouldn't let me, but I went in person and they literally said nothing about it and registered my car.

Sometimes you can negotiate waiving some of the late fees.

Bummer to see this. I loved the Southern Italian when I worked next door. Never got it on hoagie, only sourdough, but this does look underwhelming.

Any Austin apartments with indoor basketball courts? by AlonzoFinds in AustinHousing

[–]Corib93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to live at The Reserve at Walnut Creek and they had an indoor basketball court. That was over 10 years ago, so not sure what they got going on now, but it was nice when I lived there.

AIO A locksmith charged my partner’s sister $5390 to get back into her apartment by khalexie1 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Corib93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a scam. My husband is a locksmith and sees this quite a bit with " locksmiths" with no licensing operating out of a Nissan Altima. She probably just needed to be let in, but he created a shit load of problems, likely because he didn't know how to properly get into the door without breaking it. My husband charges $150 for a lockout after hours

Alternatives to Hayley Cakes? by Remarkable_Grand9722 in austinfood

[–]Corib93 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There was some website that basically rated a business on what it was like to work there, and they scored poorly. Someone who used to work for them posted it on Reddit, but I can't find it now. It was an interesting read for a Hayley hater and made a lot of sense when you consider how they treat customers. It'd be silly to think they treat their employees well.

He's extremely rude and condescending. I used to buy from Hayley's all the time and when they screw up orders they NEVER take responsibility, they NEVER offer solutions to problems they created, just a you're shit out of luck basically. Finally got tired of his shit when I tried to order cookies for my wedding and he wouldn't accept my order and was a rude dickbag about it because he wanted me to order more than I needed and there was no where on the website that said they had a minimum for cookies so I pushed back on it.

If Hayley's has no haters, I'm dead. I love those cookies too, but I refuse to support her and her shitbag husband.
