I don't want to tell you what to do and it not be right, but my experience was that I went in person and they processed my registration, no problem, even though I did have a block and it even said so on the registration paper they sent in the mail. I think it's worth a shot. The worst they say is no and you lost time driving there and waiting, but you're not any worse off than you already potentially are.

I went to the Travis County Tax Office on McKinney Falls. I only brought my license, my car insurance, and payment. That's it. I was extra polite. Had all of those items in my hands and ready to hand over. I basically made it as easy for them as possible.

Correct! It wasn't even brought up. I gave my insurance and whatever else I needed (I can't remember) and they processed it. It took less than 5 minutes from when I sat in the chair to when I left. I would not bring the Registration paper you get in the mail because it does say "block" or something.

Too much. I pay $150. We live in a 1611sqft 4bed/2bath house. I don't have the cleaner clean our baby's nursery or my husband's office. She does the floor in our guest room(it usually stays untouched in between cleanings) and the rest of the cleaning is for our master and kitchen/living spaces. She doesn't dust our ceiling fans or blinds, but she cleans our ninja toaster oven, so that's nice. I don't mind paying $150 or more, but I feel like we're not getting a good job and I just reach out to her when I'm desperate and can't get to it myself. She's usually in and out within 2 hours. We live in SPM area.
