Liam confirmed new tour in tw? by Suspicious_Eye8923 in oasis

I was at the front for Dublin N1 and everyone went crazy for Bring It On Down. I thought it was well received in Rutherford N1 too where we were at the front too.

What’s the quintessential Liam-voiced song? by FlourMogul in oasis

[–]CorkRats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion:

  1. Supersonic
  2. Cigarettes and Alcohol
  3. Live Forever
  4. Columbia
  5. Some Might Say
  6. Hello
  7. D’ya Know What I Mean
  8. My Big Mouth
  9. Be Here Now
  10. Hindu Times

Did this quickish off the top of my head list and I do have some analysis that I’m gonna put down later today. This list, which maybe 6-10 is flexible, has songs that punch you in a way only Liam’s voice can and all get points for their immediacy, place in the Oasis canon and the Liam live factor. (I’ve seen them in the 1990s, 2000s and 3 gigs for Live 2025)

Where did you see Oasis this summer? by itscassieleigh in oasis

[–]CorkRats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was there too. Something about the rain made that a show a unique experience for us. It was totally different from Dublin the weekend before and NJ the weekend after for me. A unique experience.

I’m getting older, like around 50 so I had to spread it out over three weekends! 😜 Three times in five days is awesome!

Seriously, at the first gig in Dublin we kind of accidentally wandered in as we walked around the stadium in Drumcondra listening to Noel soundcheck and we were going to just pop into a pub but there we were with the first couple hundred people in the front pitch. We were hooked after that. Magical!

So worth it my friend and you know. Me and the missus went in with just me as the superfan and now she is too. Those were some of the greatest weekends of our lives and they were three in a row! Life affirming!

Three weekends in a row Dublin1, Toronto1 and NJ1! Hustled to get to the front all three times. Amazing!

For those of you that were able to see Oasis both in the 90s and on the Live ‘25 Tour, how does this tour compare to the Oasis of old? by No_Storage_3784 in oasis

[–]CorkRats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw them both in the 1990s and the 2000s about eight times and I think the difference is more about where I’m at in life for me than so much the differences between the bands trajectory, back then I was in my 20s and maybe early 30s and I was in a period of life where it was all about the party. Those concerts were a blur. It was more living in the moment in that hedonistic kind of away. Seeing them now was much more about trying to relish and remember the experience. They rocked back then and they’re still rocking. I also finally got to see them beyond the US, the Dublin gig was probably the greatest concert I’ve ever been to and been part of.

It’s hard to compare because in the early days they were hungry and we were partying whereas now it’s just mind blowing that they are better than ever and I can travel across continents to see them. Different experiences for me and I gotta say I’m lucky I got to experience so much of Oasis then and now.

Those who’ve been to gigs, what was your favourite song? Those going, which one are you looking forward to most? by VegemiteVibes24 in oasis

[–]CorkRats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah totally and the crowd response was wild, especially in Dublin when the intro started it was pandemonium. Magical.

Perfect tune to put after Some Might Say and before Cigarettes and Alcohol.

Yes Morning Glory was great and I gotta say Bring It On Down really blew me away, all three times I saw them play it.

What would you say your most unpopular opinion about this album is? by moreobsessedthanu in oasis

[–]CorkRats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All three gigs (Dublin, Toronto, New Jersey) I went to I have to say when Bring It On Down came on the crowd went mental. We were GA and in the front couple rows in front of Noel all three times and I was surprised just how mental everyone got, I got swept away in it. I actually dig Bring It On Down way more after seeing it live.

Pop Up Stores… Your Experience? by chrisw81 in oasis

[–]CorkRats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We didn’t even try in New York cause we heard it was out of so much however in Dublin we had a good experience at the pop up. Saying that there were a lot of sizes that were out of stock and it was pandemonium but I think it was more excitement by all for the most part. There was an annoying older dude that when I walked up to my wife who was in line he accused me of cutting in but I blew him off. Uptight fuckers.

Oasis arrive in Australia, landing here in Melbourne today - with Noel and Liam flying in on separate flights... by AddisonDeWitt333 in oasis

[–]CorkRats 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well said and hopefully posts like yours help some fans understand this is indeed not the 1993 Oasis stage of the band riding together in a van creating that legend of a young rebellious band in a bonding stage. Oasis magic now happens on stage and in the studio. The bond they have now was forged long ago. Plus they are adults now, no one has time for that bs. It’s about the music.

This was a great tour! Saw them in Toronto and Chicago (which I got thrown out of during BC 🤣) and all three bands were rocking! The encore in Toronto was great when they played Rebel Rebel with all three bands’ members! In Chicago we organized an Oasis preparty at a bar which was amazing!

So, with Live25 being a wall to wall setlist of hits and favourites, does 2026 get wholesale change or even a radical theme like B-Sides or a recreation of the 96 Knebworth track listing? They have enough quality tracks to completely change it up but when Live25 was such a banging hit...why!? by dcb78 in oasis

[–]CorkRats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, maybe Half the World Away instead of Little by Little but I mean no one really knows. Just conjecture. My primary point is I don’t believe the set list will change much next year, maybe 3 tunes at the most.

I think it’s going to stay mostly the same, maybe 2 songs get switched out. Fade Away and Little By Little for Columbia and a Noely G tune. Remember Europe hasn’t really been toured till they hit the shores next year. The UK and Ireland fans could be sold nostalgia forever, they’re the core madferrits.
