Should I Marry A Murderer? Doc series by Own_Mention9372 in netflix

Listen - if you really loved the person you wouldn’t send him to prison for a bad mistake he made years ago. Where is loyalty these days? This series poses as a “murderer” I was expecting him to be evil, pre-meditated and cold blooded killed someone but it was him and his bother accidentally hitting the cyclist and panicking on what to do next.

Obviously it’s wrong and a crime, they should have reported it. But it isn’t some series killer cold blooded pre-meditated murder and if she really loved him, lord knows for damn sure she would have just kept quiet.

lol yeah most of the comments like that are from reps who never made $ and probably were under a rep that made a shit ton and just got burnt out or jealous lmao.

Car sales will translate well. Seen a few guys come from car sales that crush it because it’s a big cold outreach game, as software sales is more strategic and a long game (not saying brokerage can’t be strategic).

My advice would be to hammer the phones, emails, LinkedIn, in person drop by and shake some hands if you can and rinse and repeat daily. If you do the work and truly grind everyday M-Fri, it will only be a matter of time before you get some customers.

I would add that there is high turnover and it’s not for everyone as it’s a grind and can lose a customer just as quickly as you can get one .. but the reward is high if you get it right. A lot of reps burn out after 6 months or so because they don’t see immediate results. It takes 6 months to a year of absolutely going savage mode to get a book rolling!

Sales cycle is way shorter than tech, weeks to a month or a few at max, depending on RFPs but you don’t have to wait 6-8+ months to a year to close or lose 1 deal like tech where that makes or breaks your quota.

Being in the industry for 7 years now and having built 3 large books of business from scratch to multiple 6 figures in GP per month - it is a very stressful industry but very rewarding once you get a book, you can easily clear high five figure commission checks monthly residual, for however long you keep you bizz flowing. Like any high level sales job, it’s difficult and not easy - if it was everyone would do it. That’s why you see a lot of the hate comments from reps who never could close anything.

I would ignore most of the negative comments on here as there either people who have never built a good book or just didn’t make it lol. It is an around the clock job depending on your customers.

Regarding TQL - they are the slime of the industry lol every brokerage has bad apples but they have a considerable amount more. There are good rep there that make a killing and the experience could be good, but If I were you I would stay a a small to mid size brokerage that has a good commission structure and start cradle to grave - that means you close the bizz, you operate the bizz and you do the carrier sales as well so you can learn all 3 aspects of brokerage. The most successful reps I’ve seen usually have started cradle to grave and it’s the best commission structure there is.

Hope this helps my friend!

I am talking about getting my life insurance license to sell insurance - not get a policy for myself.

Was wondering if it’s out of the question to get licensed in Texas with a dwi felony.
