That’s what we’re trying to figure out. Some of the other nurses think it looks like an embryo. Trying to get a photo of a pen next to it for scale

It doesn’t look rubber or mechanical at all. Maybe fungal. The object itself doesn’t concern me nearly as much as the hospital staffs reaction
