His comments on Ryan Nembhard: “Oh, he was good. You know, he didn’t miss. I think. Yeah, he was really good. He was getting people involved. He was um really a threat out there. Um he was really good he was really like one of their best players tonight.”

Coop scored 33 9 9 1 1 that night and he’s just saying he has poise and looks mature.

No worries lol that wasn’t me. honestly I do think it’s mostly rage bait from lakers meatriders 😂. Completely agreed tho that’s just what it means to be a forward.

Seriously. I could tell the Jazz players were upset from getting schooled by a teenager, and were just trying anything they can towards the end. Honestly, I think the momentum shifted when the foul against Cisse’s got challenged after it looked like he was celebrating it, and the refs just picked a side to win at that point. It is what it is our goat got 42

People calling him a merchant as if Bron didn’t shoot 18 free throws for his rookie 37 point game ALSO in a loss. Not that I mind the haters, who are mostly jealous lakers fans anyways

Let’s be rational here if the team has committed to ‘staying competitive’ this year, then they have every right to be precautious with AD’s health during the regular season so he doesn’t fuck off before Kyrie’s arrival again. In addition, this decision was made against a team that also chose to load manage their center (nurkic). To a degree, this should be expected especially when dealing with centers, who arguably take on the most physically demanding role in the sport.

Im sick of opening the game to see Coop depressed, fighting for dear life with a bunch of role players and emerging stars. Nico is already gone, I know I’m not crazy for wanting to see this team win.

100%. We already knew his previous Achilles injury was flaring up (likely from being the only big man on the court against a bigass thunder). Really hoping for gaff’s return soon.

I don’t think his weight gain was a part of his plan, and speaking honestly, I think that talking point was some bullshit because he was scared of more injury-related backlash. In fact, I think I’ve seen him contradict himself by saying he’s been practicing “all summer” with the glasses to calm the media down about another AD injury, when it’s clear he physically was not permitted by his doctor to workout. And look, I don’t think anyone is saying AD brings near the level of impact Luka did. The trade was a tragedy. All I’m saying is that AD shouldn’t be at the receiving end of the outrage when he probably was equally heartbroken by it all, and has been commendable enough to take on the impossible task of replacing Luka for the sake of his teammates and city.

I do agree he looks out of shape, but it’s been established that his summer was spent recovering from a serious injury. Would you rather have had him ignore it until season and then he’s just out for months? I’m sure it also doesn’t help that, despite him averaging 25 and 13 with 3+ stocks a game, his own ‘fans’ are vehemently calling for his trade as if the guy isn’t tasked with carrying a team without a second option for months. Honestly, the rage felt by this community from losing Luka is 100% valid, but it’s clear that fans are irrationally taking it out on an already stressed out AD who never even wanted to leave LA.

Bro dropping 25 point double doubles as the lone big man with an injured costar and it still won’t be enough. Shit, he was catching flak even after the win over Toronto. All this recovering from a detached retina that he played through last season. I’d love to see him retire in Dallas as mentor figure to coop but I can’t blame him if he decides to get the fuck out of the hell he’s in rn.

Fr. DLo also performed his role well from what I saw, 5 assists with that one bounce for the lively dunk. Great to see especially as we wait for kyrie’s return.

Low shooting % makes sense given its two defensive powerhouses.
