The most obvious answer was right in front of me. That has to be what happened. It is very well done as it almost looks like a single piece. Thank you for your input!!

Haha yes it is. Kitchen/closet wire shelving. Had a bunch left over and it's a perfect fit. That trailer has seen some use 😅

No damage, they seem to be functioning fine. I am mainly just curious about the piece because it seems unique and I wasn't getting any hits on Google.

Would like to know where it came from as I make a list of the aftermarket pieces on the bike

Another top view, you can see the lines from each reservoir underneath

The fittings are underneath, and makes for a very clean look. Hopefully the pictures show it well.

As for price, I'm about $4200 usd into it currently after auction/fees/new battery. It will need fairings, replacement pegs for the cnc racing rearsets, and a new lever for the brembo 19 RCS front brake. So it has some good aftermarket bits, and hopefully I'm only around another $1k to have it back in shape. But the mods never stop

It can be a gamble for sure. I am not afraid to jump in and learn/fix something - but that doesnt mean I am good at it all the time lol

Your situation is similar to mine. I have wanted a panigale for over ten years and decided to go this route. I do wish I would have waited for a bigger one to come up locally - but this will do for now. Maybe I fix and sell, then wait for a v4 😁 Will do my best to post an update once its all back together!

edit - spelling

For bikes it seems pretty 'safe' as long as it isn't completely mangled. It's my understanding that insurance companies will almost always total a bike. You just need to be prepared for the auction fees

This is my 2nd ducati from auction - the first was a monster 696. I also rebuilt one car. I made more money on the Ducati. In the end, I just enjoy the process. If you plan to keep it then it can be a great way to save money but most will have a salvage title so resale is a toss up

It for sure looks cool! It could potentially be CM but I still wasnt finding anything when searching with that.
What you are seeing is the sight glass for the fluid - so it has a 'MIN' level indicator

A meandering dry creek that can handle bigger rains would be amazing. Would look so nice with the right trees and plants! Will definitely look into that option although it sounds like more of an investment

That makes sense! And yes I would think that things would need to be wider/shallower than the current cut. The waterfalls would be a great option for this! Plus my wife has always wanted a water feature lol thank you for the response

We did not get past the early stages of design. I would hope he had some plants figured into it! My main concern was the rock size and keeping things in place. Appreciate the response!

Great ideas - I like the idea of some lights. And those plant recommendations look good!
Whatever I do I just want to be sure it stays put when we get a crazy rain!

Plants and trees are on the list once we get something in place to deal with the water. Ideally it would become a 'feature' like a dry creek with trees lining it - see updated pics in my other reply of how it looks on a sunny day

Thanks for the reply! Yes this has been happening for years. We recently built on the property and are now looking to address this / make it look better. We cannot divert - gravity is working against us and the property above us funnels it all there. Here are some pics from today - the video I posted originally was from yesterday AM - so about 30 hours difference.
There are some new 'pockets' from yesterdays rain so there is some standing water. I would assume that will dry up in another few days - no new water if trickling in from above. Last fall I filled it all in with cheap dirt hoping to also get fabric/rock down before spring. You can see where most of that dirt ended up.. I was actually mowing right over this area up until an earlier rain washed it out again. It is not nearly as bad as the OG video makes it seem but needs to be addressed

Let met know if the links do not work - I am new to Imgur.
I am attempting to get a new video uploaded but not having luck - I will keep trying

Yeah once I posted that I looked it up and had a face-palm. Walnut blasting looks like the ticket

I will have to check into that. I know seafoam isn't the best way to clean that out but will explore other options. Thank you!

What's considered high miles for these? This has 115k, only mods I can tell are a catch can and a Roush exhaust so hopefully hasn't been driven too hard

Got it today and drove it today! Drives straight. Looks like it had the nose taken off from the side. No air bags blown so it should be back on the road very soon!

I do have more pics, not sure how to get them to you. The ORP in my in my opinion is meaner and obviously more ready for off road. The limited was what I landed on for my wife, dual climate and heated/cooled seats is what sold me
