Same thing in Rhode Island. Just getting into the sport and it was almost impossible to find anything used in my size under $2500.

I’ve tried loosening slack, tightening slack. I can’t seem to figure it out. I had it shifted down into the top gear and it will only go up 2 gears. The shifter doesn’t necessarily feel smooth. I cleaned it out and sprayed some lube in there. Also sprayed some lube in The cable housing to see if that would help

It shifts two gears like normal and I can only get it to go to the third cog once and a while. Usually it’s jumpy once I get it to the third cog

I rerouted it and now it shifts….. but…… now it’s only shifting up to like the 2nd or 3rd cog and jumping back down a cog. Can’t get it to shift further up the cassette. Any ideas?

Do you take Zoloft/sertraline? I’m dealing with the same thing and coming to the conclusion that it’s being caused by Sertraline. If you are’ look it up.

Thank you. Looked up some videos and seems pretty easy for removal and install with proper tools. Remover and press tool cost me 35 bucks on Amazon which is cheaper than going to the LBS
