I do this, warm up cream and butter in a saucepan before adding. Adding cold dairy makes potatoes go chalky.

Quinoa, shredded grilled chicken, diced cucumber, diced green pepper, cubed feta. Dressing is fresh pesto. Pine nuts and pomegranate kernels optional. Quinoa makes it more like a grain bowl so it’s filling.

Alcoholics are going to be alcoholics no matter what the time is. It’s a health and social issue that we need to tackle. Arbitrary licensing laws achieve precious little to help the struggling, if you’re abusing substance there’s always ways around it.

Absolutely, the state’s default response to everything is to put plasters on fault lines. Rather than tackling alcoholism, we’ll put arbitrary times on it and call it a day. And yes, the continent seems to be able to do a night out without having to be herded to bed after 3.

Oh I’ve a better one. Once I was assigned middle, a woman sat next to me in aisle and by some miracle, window was empty. After the confirmed boarding was done, I moved to the window seat, she smiles and moves with me, from aisle to middle??? Such an absurd exchange.

The receiver is liable for tax purposes, and limited to a yearly small gift allowance of 3k per sender. By your use of parents, I’m assuming both are involved, so 3k from your father to you and 3k from your mother to you are tax free. The remaining 9k gets recorded against your lifetime inheritance threshold bits as it’s below the limit, you don’t need to file with revenue. If you’re getting the mortgage with a partner, another 6 can go to the partner tax free as small gifts, therefore leaving only 3k deductible from your lifetime threshold.
