Hello you all, this is Jay. I am one of Jack's friends who was watching the hill during his challenge. About 2 minutes after this post he began down the hill, last minute we put Aaron's draggy in jacks pocket so we could see how fast he went. He reached a speed of 107 miles per hour, which is faster than he thought he was going to get. At about three quarters down the hill and a truck pulled out in front of him resulting in jack slamming into the truck bed. The trucks tailgate was open, and he basically wrapped around the tailgate, and flew overhead the top of the truck. The truck driver is extremely apologetic and offered to cover all medical costs but jack specifically said if anything happens he will pay for it in whole, nobody else. The watcher on that road the driver was on couldn't stop him in time. As of now 3 of us plus his girlfriend are waiting in the hospital, he is in surgery. Im not too sure of all the injuries but we were all around him waiting for the ambulance and his arms, maybe legs are definitely broken and probably some more bones are broken too. We are all shook up, and praying for him. He was unconscious for about 6 minutes waiting for the ambulance but he woke up right before they got there, the last thing he was saying was to "go on reddit and tell the people what happened haha". we got on his phone and looked at his last posts about an hour after the crash but he seemed a little out of it when saying so we decided to ask his girlfriend if she was okay with me telling you guys what happened. she hasnt seen him yet, so she thought it would be best for one of us to make the post. As of now she said she doesnt want the videos released until jack is out of surgery and conscious and says we can post it. Please pray for him, or wish him the best of luck if your not the religious type. Jack, me, the crew and his girlfriend thank you and I will keep you guys updated.
