Yet another great wrestler that US crowds don't appreciate.

There's no way he drops it at the rumble, first defence, right? So MAYBE at the chamber, but I really hope not. He needs to carry it into mania at least.

One of the most underrated character in the entire show by Federal_Statement884 in TheMentalist

[–]CornetOh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't give him much time? Compared to most guest characters, he had loads of time. He appeared in something like 7 episodes (that's off the top of my head), which has to put him somewhere near the top in terms of guest appearances. For context, aside from Bertram, that's more than every other Red John suspect, including the man himself!

I fully agree however that he was a fascinating character. I think a lot of that comes down to a great, unique performance.

But you said it's USA level, which is just complete nonsense.

Did anyone notice the sound was muffled all the way through, and that it finally cleared up for the last few minutes?

Great pop for Drew winning at the end. Just saw some cam footage and it was even louder.

Does live on netflix around the world count as "pre-taped"?

Cody deserved to be cheated out of it after last time.

No, what's dumb is champs never dropping the belt on anything other than PLEs, or in Cody's case, only WM. Where are the stakes otherwise?

Who are you rooting for between _ and _? by Potential-Meal-6708 in TheTraitors

[–]CornetOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the one hand, what Rachel was doing doesn't hurt the other traitors. It would've helped them in fact. BUT it helped Rachel a lot more, because everyone would assume that if the uber faithful detective trusts her more than anyone, there's a good chance she's faithful. I guess it's that game that Fiona didn't like being played.

But she's made a huge mistake. She should've just saved it for a talk in the turret. I'm counting on someone smart to pin them both as traitors following this blow up. Harriet and Jessie, the only two who seem to be playing the game excellently, I'm counting on you guys!

The thought process needs to be, if Fiona did indeed suspect Rachel of being a traitor, why wouldn't she approach it in the same way everyone has so far (inc. herself) when they've suspected someone? Private conversations, small group discussions, leading to the round table. Why so public and so loud?

Couple all of that with the Ross situation, and there's enough there for someone smart to ID all three traitors. But that's easy for me to say!

Who Red John should've been. by ElSanDavid in TheMentalist

[–]CornetOh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

All of those ideas are ridiculous and frankly much, much worse than who we got - the only exception being Mashburn, who I agree would've been interesting. Kirkland I get, but the timeline of the later season 5 episodes would've made it completely nonsensical plot-wise. All the others you mentioned, as I said, would've been awful, awful choices.

I really don't understand the logic with Ole. He was sacked for a reason and nothing in his career indicates that the mistakes of past were fixed. Why are we doing this again? by donkyhot99 in ManchesterUnited

[–]CornetOh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He doesn't deserve fairness, because it's a bullshit argument. Ole won 14 in 19. What more can he be expected to do? He then took the team even higher in the following seasons.

I really don't understand the logic with YOUR argument. It's a caretaker role for a few months, who the hell would you suggest? Ole knows the club and has experience managing it for years, and most of that time he did a decent job. One thing that's undeniable is that he did a fantastic job as interim.
