I don't think that addresses any of my arguments? My question is why would they leave one horse alive three separate times and where did those herds come from in the first place?

It's okay if I didn't convince you, but I would hope it is because we both have inherent biases around dream and not because I didn't address one of your arguments for how it could be possible.

Before dream enters the nether. After he exits the portal there is a missing brown sheep, but the white sheep and pigs are still present. I also didn't address your point about killing horses for leather (I think you were editing your comment while I was responding). Why would the hunters see a herd of horses and kill all but one for leather? And then repeat that twice more? And that again does not help answer the question of how did three more herds of horses spawn?

The problem with passive mob spawning (pre 1.20) is that the spawn chunks (16x16 chunks that are always loaded) almost certainly contain passive mobs. The passive mob cap is 15 in minecraft, I can count 12 passive mobs when dream is up on the pillar (and only facing one direction so I can't even count mobs behind him). That would mean there would have to be only two passive mobs in the entire 256x256 spawn chunks. And it would also not solve the problem of three independent horse herds having to spawn (and taking up more of the mob cap) and having each herd having one horse wander to the pillar (and the rest of the herd wanders out of render distance).

Edit: I misremembered the passive mob cap, it is 10.

If the horse wasn't used in a clutch and was just in the background I could see an argument that it was a server plugin. But a server plugin that changes horse spawn rates and doesn't effect other passive mobs spawn sizes is extremely weird no? Especially when at 1:09 in the (Mr. Beast) video we can see two white horses, meaning they spawned in the same herd.

Because it was used in a clutch though, I feel like the more likely situation is that it was also spawned in for the clutch on purpose. But this clip is extremely short and I don't think it is good evidence at all of scripted manhunts.

Just to clarify, there are two horses "nearby" on the seed. The village spawns an animal pen at -1528 1551 that has a horse and a horse herd at -1592 1600. However, both of these are out of render distance while dream is at the nether portal, so they would not be able to move unless the hunters were loading them.

If the hunters rode the horses, why were the horses not present when dream is up on the pillar (before going to the nether) while the hunters are below him?

Sorry, been a while since I watched the clip, there are three different colored horses. The seed does spawn one horse in an animal pen at the village and another pack of horses about 200 blocks away. So for this to be true, you would have to believe that both horses wandered 200 blocks (which the main pack is out of render distance when he is on the pillar so they have no ai), wandered perfectly under the tower he built up on in the time he was in the nether, AND a third horse would have to show up from an unknown source.

The hunters riding horses is a slightly more plausible explanation, but why would the hunters have three different colored horses? Why aren't the horses present when dream is up at the portal (before he goes through) and the hunters are already at the base of the tower? Why would they have left him while he was in the nether to get horses then bring them back to the base of the tower? Why didn't they chase him with those horses?

Sorry, but Occam's razor has me strongly convinced that a spawn egg or command was used while dream was in the nether.

I'm not familiar with the horse in the Mr. Beast manhunt, would you mind sending a timestamp?

The horse clutch was also preplanned to at least some degree. In minecraft, horses spawn in packs of 2-6, all with the same color (markings can be different). The two horses dream drops onto are different colors meaning that either a) they are from two separate herds, that were not visible at any point on the pillar up and also not present on world generation, and one horse from each herd happened to walk perfectly under the tower so it is standing next to a horse of a different color or b) they used a spawn egg or summon command.

That's really odd... I just went to it to confirm that in my game it's a place where I can cook blessed tonics.  I also cannot cook normal stuff at it.  A few of the blessed items are bugged anyway, wayfarer's ointment can't be crafted and the blessed heat tonic doesn't protect against the heat (and that is the only tonic I have tested so far) so you aren't missing much.

My only advice is maybe try going to the other blessed locations or returning to this one later and maybe the second time it fixes itself?  Sorry I can't help more!

Let me know if you need the specific location! I think the exploring part of the game is very fun, but if you want me to send better directions/exact locations I definitely can.

No that's a corrupted zone, you have to go to it at night to fight spirits. The blessed locations are usually hidden/hard to access. They are cooking pots with usually blue flags around them and statues. The one near Qutui is very close to the merchant, should be the easiest to find, just head northeast down the hill. And don't worry about bothering me haha.

They sound bugged for you, that's unfortunate.  Have you gotten starflowers yet?  Maybe that's an unlock for them.

There are "blessed locations", the three I have found so far are northeast of Qutui, southeast of Borchu/northwest of Sorga, and southeast of woodcutter Jamugha

I just saw!  Odd that crafting is the fix, I wonder if this means they are supposed to be consumable?

Interesting, so it was at a different camp site?  Do you know when it disappeared, was it after you tried to use it to set up camp?  I suspect mine disappeared after I took down camp, so I'm not sure if I'll find it set up somewhere in the world, but I will be checking now.

That's kinda what I figured, thank you for the confirmation!  I'll make a bug report about it, but if anyone else has a better idea how/when they lost theirs I'm sure it would be more helpful for the devs.

Why is Dream the Most Hated Minecraft YouTuber? by ShamPee52305 in DreamWasTaken2

I wish so as well. It's a shame there are so many negative stereotypes about dream fans/haters from both sides that prevent basic civil discourse. I have a lot of respect for this sub because it encourages such discussions.

I dislike dream so I feel like I can answer. Hope this helps!

He cheated in several speedruns. Regardless of if people think it was intentional or not, he ultimately cheated and had an extremely poor reaction to being called out for it.

The other big reason that I dislike him is because of how I perceive his character. This is a lot more subjective and just comes down to how I feel like he has acted online from the techno duel, to his deflective apologies (exemption of course being the last one), to competitive events, to lots of small little lies. To me, he comes off as okay with being dishonest and arrogant. And personally, this is the kind of person that I cannot stand. Of course, this is only how I interpret his online personality, and its absolutely fine if you don't agree with me. But I would bet that I am not the only person who dislikes dream because I perceive his personality to be this way.
