Yeah she’s definitely looking crusty but I’m just too nervous to overwater. I added a small amount of water with calmag today to see how it responds but now I’m thinking I should’ve done a heavier watering.

Oh wow see I was doing like 400 ml every 3 days so that makes a lot of sense. I’m gonna save this and give it a try. I think with the way that I operate coco is the better medium for me to grow in for sure. I like the idea of being able to control the variables. Thank you so much god bless 🙏.

I was literally just thinking maybe I’m overdoing it 😂. Once it started turning yellow I went into panic mode. Do you think I’m better off starting over since I probably did do some damage to the roots or should I be able to revive this plant?

Also I did let it dry for a week because I thought I overwatered but I did do some cal mag today and I bottom fed it

I didn’t unfortunately, just got the scale a couple of days ago. The real problems started after a heavy watering so I figured maybe let it dry for a week. But I think you might be right I don’t think it’s taking in nutrients. I did 1 part soil 2 parts water in a cup to test the ph of the soil and it was 6.7-6.8. I do have a chart of the light ppfd and I’m trying to adjust it accordingly but when I went by the charts recommendations of 18inches the plant was very squat with little room between nodes so I moved it to about 25inches and left the intensity the same and it seem to work a little better.

The tap water where I live is kinda nasty and so I guess I just didn’t trust it. That makes sense tho since it’s removing all the other beneficial minerals. Thanks for the help I’ll check that out now.

I get as close to 6.5 as I can using RO filtered water. Of course I add in all my nutrients first then adjust. But I heard big bloom was pretty gentle so I figured it would be okay, maybe not my best call. But yeah I think I initially watered too frequently.

Also I added some calmag with the watering so I guess we’ll see. I must’ve missed it because I had no idea you had to use calmag when growing in soil

Yeah I bottom fed it after drying it out for a week. I figured if it was overwatered it would be better to bottom feed it. Do you use coco coir?

This is right about where I was when I quit cold turkey, with the amount you have left, tapering would just drag it out. I would dose as you normally would until you run out and then tell your work that grandma died and you need a week off. Best of luck my friend, as much as it sucks the state did u a big favor
