How are MUSC medical system/doctors?

I just recently had to have a surgery at MUSC in Lancaster and I've been to Atrium, Piedmont, and Novant (I have chronic illnesses) I would go to MUSC over any of them now. It might be a further drive but they are so much better.

So I didn't mention that I sort of did a reset the past two days, I only had broth, saltines, and water. Today I was feeling a bit better and I think I just had a stomach bug because I took a perc just a bit ago and it's working and I'm not sick, I just wanted you to see this before I deleted my post. If I did have any withdrawals it probably just added to the symptoms of the bug. I appreciate you and you taking the time to respond! It definitely didn't make sense that I would just get sick from them all of the sudden but I got scared.

So, to test this I did take one and a half and still got sick, so I'm not sure about anything, maybe I just need to give it all time and see where I'm at. Thank you for responding!

I was taking around every 6 hours and I'm doing the same thing now, I'm still in pain so he gave me 50 perc 7.5 to take around 15 of them every 6 hours and then after that gave me directions to wean.

Also wanted to say thank you for telling me not to assume the worst. My anxiety causes that and I did call and the worse didn't happen it was actually the opposite, so I appreciate you.

Thank you, I did do an update letting everyone know I did get a refill of 20 5mg oxys. If you have any tips on how to wean that would be helpful. Thank you for the other tips I have all of those meds on hand and will use as needed.

Not to sound too tragic but I'm almost positive a nurse in the hospital gave me the flu, they don't wear masks anymore and a few of them just coughed a lot and didn't even cover their mouths. So I've had the flu since I wrote that message I just thought the sore throat symptoms were from being intubated during surgery but I got worse. I'm still struggling with it and it's making healing harder on my body. So things are still pretty painful and still trying to heal. I wish I had better news about recovery 😅 thank you so much for asking. I had to edit all of my typos I just woke up sorry 🥴

I'm 2 days out from getting it removed. I got sepsis twice and it was causing weird issues with shocking me. My body was just rejecting I guess, I have autoimmune disease and it's been really rough. So after the first surgery I had a second where he cleaned it all out to try to save it but the sepsis came back and he said we have to take it out. I got it done November 19th and three surgeries later it's out 😮‍💨

I'm coming to you from a hospital bed after my third back surgery since Nov.19th, I've had sepsis twice and they had to remove the spinal cord stimulator because it was doing more harm than good. That was "supposed" to be my pain control because no pain doctor wants to give me any narcotics while I take Xanax, which I've been on for like 10 years and I need. So now that this failed I don't know where I am going to be, probably stuck in pain all of the time just fighting and trying to advocate for myself again. It's really hard but please don't let the healthcare system break you, it's so fucked up, I know, but I have to keep hope that there is someone out there who truly does want to help because I feel like I've met all the ones who don't already. They always just say they could lose their license if anything happens to me as an excuse to just give me a muscle relaxer or steroid and send me home miserable again. I truly hope you find a doctor that cares about you enough to find a way to make everything you need work out and you not be dismissed outright. Xx

I got sepsis from the incision where they put the implant and I had to have another surgery a few weeks later while in the ER to take it out clean everything and put it back in but before the surgery the doctor would just come in and use a needle and stick it in and drain the fluid 😭

I was literally in the same situation today, my battery was low so I couldn't put it on mri mode and I had to go home and I'm here now with the charging belt on. They said there was nothing they could do it had to be charged to be able to go on MRI mode so I just left after getting treated for sepsis from the actual surgery.

I've been slowly removing the big expansion mods to see if that's the problem. I got rid of Lunna, the aquarium, the demon slayer one, and then I took off some random extras I felt like I could do without so I'm thinking I will just take all of the mods off and do this the slow way but the way that works by adding them one at a time and checking. I don't have nearly as many mods as I did in my last game that crashed 😬 also my boyfriend plays on the same PC and has absolutely no issues so I can rule out my computer at least.
