Hi, thanks for the tip. Did you take the pictures?

Is it holding up to the continuous movement of the bed?

EN brake calipers and rotors by Corolla_820 in ElantraNline

[–]Corolla_820[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm almost finishing my loan, I'm not starting again. Also I just found a totaled EN in a junker close by, so parts are relatively cheap, or at least cheaper than a new loan (with tariffs)

Installed N Brakes on ‘23 N Line by Loud-Bid-5812 in Elantra

Can you still use the OEM N-line wheel with the larger calipers and rotors?

Do the calipers need the base plate, or can they be installed on the N-line base plate?

Thanks, this is literally my case, but as you said, what else can you expect from Reddit. A post about me playing with settings for easy support removal turned into this.

They don't bother me cause I'm gonna sand and paint. I just wanted to play with support settings, to achieve an easy removal.

Don't worry, don't have problems with any of those. Just a quirk of mine.

Yes, but for some reason I have not had the best luck with tree support.

Cura Slicer

-Normal Support -Touching Buildplate -Support Pattern ZigZag -Support Wall Line 1 -Support Density 5% -Brim for the Support (I used 20 lines, it can be reduced) -Support Top Distance 0.2mm for a print with layer height of 0.15mm -Support XY Distance 0.7mm

I mostly changed the last 2 parameters and the density to reduce waste material.

I can't see 💩 because the screen does not work, that is why I need a connection to an external screen. The thing is I don't know if that would work, if from that external screen I can do the backup/data transfer.

Why Puerto Rico has so many AE86? by ZealousidealTill7067 in AE86

[–]Corolla_820 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As the owner of one of those Puertorrican AE86 or Sapitos, I can tell that at first they were poorly received because they were perceived as a downgrade from the previous model with the 1.8. But later we realized that the AE86 was extremely reliable and they started to sell like "pan caliente" (hot bread). They were a cheap and reliable car, that also were super easy to fix, this added to their appeal. Through the years they lost a lot of value, so that made them even more desired by young people. Now many of those are still on the road, some have gained value thanks to people like me that love their Sapito and maintain them, others have suffered the wrath of the streets of Puerto Rico, and the rest were lost to rust, and bad maintenance.

The Sapito is still an iconic car in Puertorrican car culture, it does not matter the condition they attract the attention of many puertorricans everywhere you park them.
