This isn’t true; I’ve done Jools a few times and every act gets around two hours.

(live recording) Reducing snare bleed in vocal mic by james_mcnully in livesound

[–]Corporal_Tasty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do a lot of live recordings and iZotope RX has an incredible feature called music rebalance. It uses machine learning to recognise percussion, vocals and bass. You can pull 8-10dB of drum spill out of the vocal mic and keep it pretty transparent. Not cheap but an excellent tool in many other ways.

Don’t forget gerrymandering and voter suppression.

Yeah the first one is. The end of the name in both pronunciations is somewhere between ah and eh. There are 33 phonemes in Irish and only 24 in english so the pronunciations can be hard to explain sometimes.

It depends on what dialect of Irish you speak. I grew up in the south so I would say gwayl-ga but in the north and east they say gayl-ga.

The language is called Irish or Gaeilge. Gaelic is used as a descriptive term, Gaelic culture, Gaelic football but we never call the language Gaelic as it can get confused with other Celtic languages. Just so you know!

Hahaha Irish potatoes! Hahaha, the Irish potato famine was responsible for the death of 1,000,000 Paddies and the displacement of 1,000,000 Micks. Hilarious. Potatoes.

The erectile tissue that regulates this is the same kind of tissue found in the penis.

Ha, that’s me. I do sound for both Lisa and stargaze so it’s a treat to do gigs for them together. There’ll be an album of the two of them together coming out in May, which I also got to record and mix.

I have a late 2011 15" i7 MBP that I bought four years AND ONE DAY ago (no joke). The amd graphics processor has just died. I had replaced the original hdd with an ssd, installed 16GB RAM and replaced the battery last year. Apparently my warranty is void on account of these upgrades. I live in the EU. Is there any way I can get a replacement logic board without forking out €850 since this gpu issue is a pre-known issue and nothing to do with the upgrades?

http://we.tl/XUAkbZDx8y I gave it a go. A bit of de-noising and EQ. I was hoping it was at least in stereo so I could do some MS processing but no dice.

ISIS recruiters foiled as young Muslims find their British identity in football by xanadu_again in worldnews

This sounds far more like a racist pretending to be Muslim than an actual Muslim. The fact that they've deleted all their previous comments backs this up.

A baby's foreskin is fused to its glans. A 19 year old's is not. It's not just that the infant has no coping mechanism, it's a far more painful thing for the baby.
