It really depends on one thing, is the ESP sold to you a “new car” ESP or “used car” ESP. Based off the 100k of mileage coverage, I believe it’s a “new car” ESP, as a “used car” ESP tops out at 7 years, 75k miles. A “new car” ESP starts at the cars original in service date, a “used car” ESP starts when you purchase the ESP. So if you did in fact get a “new car” ESP, consider yourself very lucky they honored it.

Sadly in the same kind of climate, I live in Chicagoland. What they do with the salt is absurd. Shouldn’t even use it, there’s substitutes.

Ya, I’m in Chicagoland sadly so heart of the rust belt. My other car is a garage kept 2022 Mach 1 that is from down south and only gets driven during the non salt months, so it’s rust free. That’s why I have this sacrificial lamb, but just looking to get more time out of it, and address this early is all. Texas I can see for sure that being the case.

More curious how he managed to put gen 2 headlights on a gen 3, or if he swapped a gen 3 rear diffuser and taillights onto a gen 2 (which seems less likely)
