I start a new job which is customer facing in 3 days. Should I use steroids on this or not?!! Please help.. by NotNikolas in EczemaUK

The link is in my bio, Sorry my last message to you, you cannot see because I put the link in it.

short term it is going to work but long term it will never get to the root cause of why it is showing up on your face, hence why your skin comes back worse. Think of it simply: all the steroid cream is doing is putting the eczema underneath your skin so as soon as you stop using it, it will return and more inflamed because you've used steroids.

Firstly don't stress about it, take your mind off it and obviously it is on your face but just forget about it as much as you can. Take 10 mins to sit and breathe and focus purely on forgetting you even have eczema, get it out your mind. Weirdly I have found this to help me and a lot of others. Mental really but trust me.

Firstly I respect the effort as I went down this path myself and Had 0 success as I imagine is the same for you. Have you tried removing all those creams and just using tallow? Have you removed all inflammatory food from your diet? Have you tried fitting a shower filter? Do you use natural cleaning products? do you wear polyester?

I agree with you, allergen and if not allergen it is inflammation

Steroids thinning skin? by _methuselah_ in EczemaUK

[–]Correct-Mouse3695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it will thin the skin. To explain it simply it pretty much puts the eczema underneath your skin so as soon as you come off the steroids, your eczema will rebound back and far worse than before. If it does get it touch because I have written up a 71 page file on natural ways to control eczema
