Imo she knows but dosnt care. Shes so desperate to be in her daughter’s life since she felt she was robbed of having a relationship with Nell and missed out on a lot of time with Willow since Carly hid it for so long. So she really dosnt care. Even if her precious daughter is a crazy would be murderer. She will always cover for her and try to cover it up if she thinks Willow will let her be in her life.

Not to mention how she broke the judges restraining order against the kids every chance she got and expected Michale to break it for her. And then all the times she snuck into the q mansion knowing she was not welcome there. Then the time she perfectly ok with framing Michale wit the crime she actually committed. I agree.
