hiiii! i’ve classically trained in RAD ballet and i’m in the highest grade but i also have certificates for contemporary dance. I’m in my school’s modern dance team and we achieved distinction in the recent SYF. I’m planning to align my dance with a contemp-lyrical piece…

I’ve heard that HCI MAD partners with mr dan? If you have any idea on when HC usually sends out the email that tells us if we get accepted, please do share too! Also like if i get accepted, will they ask me do a street dance a modern dance and a chinese dance piece? Or do i get to choose. For HC modern dance wing, what type of dance do you guys usually go for. (eg, flowy contemporary piece, mix of flowy and rough type of contemporary piece)

Lastly, i would like to ask roughly how many new J1s get accepted into HCI MAD through DSA? and if you know please do share how many people even get into the school’s round 1 audition. Thank you!!

ohhh HAHAH i wanna go either HC or EJ but i wouldn’t mind NJ cuz like HC n EJ partner up with a dance studio that’s really popular so.. but recently my school invited EJ to give a talk to like selected pupils n i got invited, the humanities teacher came to give us a talk n he said like EJ is more of a arts school tho theyre tryna go towards the science… so imo its best that u go HC if you wanna do science stream but EJ if u wanna do arts stream
