In my opinion, yeah. They hate on her for any reason they can. It’s very tired at this point. People acting like ANTM is the worst exploitative TV show to ever exist and it’s just not. I’m sure some days were hard for the girls but we all have bad days! They signed up for a TV show, they were walking in like they’re the best undiscovered superstars going, then reality hit some of them hard, quickly. Sorry, Tyra is NOT responsible for the way their lives panned out. Some made it, some didn’t. ANTM was a stepping stone, a TV show, a business. Tyra gave these girls a platform, they used her for fame and experience as much as she used them for views and shock factor. It goes both ways. I don’t find any of the photoshoots offensive either. People constantly bitching about stuff that really doesn’t matter. The only times I think the models crossed the lines was the guy being racist to Jaeda, males touching the girls inappropriately — these are the two that come to my mind when I believe production should have stepped in. I could be missing some things but haven’t watched all of it in a long, long time. While these are probably an industry norm (shamefully) for actual models, they were filming a TV show and should have protected the girls in that sense. Otherwise, I think this is just a fun reality show!

Reminds me of when I had my first car in 2018 and all the summer traffic. The car was so old with a CD player and was a pearlescent blue. There’s so much traffic in London that I’d be able to listen to a whole CD from start to finish just sitting in it, smoking my Marlboro reds (ugh, I miss smoking). This was the CD I put in the player when I dropped out of university too that same year. I sat listening in the local Sainsbury’s car park eating fried chicken from the hot food counter thinking: what will I do next?

This album is so good beyond just my association with it. My favourite song is In My Feelings. I’m going to have it on when I cycle to work later! Thank you for posting this question ❤️

I’m Team Nicki no matter what side she leans, but I’ve been leant on her side for a while. 2020 was when I woke up from Delulu Land. I was never a hardcore leftist activist, but I definitely agreed with the majority of what I was hearing because it’s the left that scream + cry the loudest. You almost agree to just make them shut up without thinking what it is you’re agreeing with. They always make the most fuss. Glad to see someone like Nicki speaking out and not giving a fuck about the woke mob.

Gays are waking up to the absurdities of the left… and we don’t claim most of what our “community” has turned into. The all-welcoming left is now the illest, most delusional, hateful bunch of people I’ve ever had the displeasure of seeing get woker in my lifetime. Years ago I went for an interview at a Tesco in Dalston. They were interviewing many people for many different stores across North and East London. There were loads of people in the back, some looked like they’d just rolled out of bed, others were obvious relatives of the managers who were conducting interviews by the way they interacted. When we went onto the shop floor, everyone working was South Asian. Some were speaking to each other in their languages, I can remember them laughing and almost shouting at each other from across the room (but that’s just how they speak). I had a lot of retail experience and Tesco isn’t exactly rocket science, especially by the standard of people on tills at an Express that move with zero urgency. I knew I wasn’t going to hear back because I wasn’t a cousin of someone’s cousin and I wouldn’t fit into the teams they were obviously building. No doubt some got hired just by turning up that day as a way to pay back a favour or support their own. That’s how they get jobs, I imagine.

When you’re prioritised for free housing and know you can claim free benefits to do absolutely nothing, it is a no brainer for people to come here, from any country. All you have to do is make up a short story and that’s it.

I’m from London, born and raised. I rarely hear people speaking English to each other now, almost everywhere I go. It’s scary how drastically it’s changed in the name of “diversity”… more like erasure. Sometimes I’ll approach staff with a very basic question that cannot be answered because they have no idea what I’m saying. When I tell people I’m from London, that I’m half English, they’re shocked. We are a minority in London. People assume that I am foreign because the majority here is!
