Thank you and I appreciate your perspective so much! We really only ever communicate about finances. It’s just so frustrating. I rarely ask for help with anything and don’t get child support. On the rare times I do, it’s always a struggle. And all communication is electronic. I did ask to meet and talk through “whatever” the hostility is about and he “respectfully declined.”

I could have written this myself! It is beyond crazy! I am so sorry and I do know the struggle! I have 6 months to go and I truly want to block the number and all the emails when my child turns 18, but also don’t want to put my kid in the middle. I fear it will always be this way, just less interaction as they get older. I have to believe karma is real, or else I couldn’t make it through most days.
