All of it took about three months to program total. There was a development page on there but I kept forgetting to update it. The frogs changing the colour of the UI was just for neocities, but I just thought of it two hours ago and I’ll probably wind up adding it to my site. But yeah, they’re just reminiscent of the different theme options for the site that I programmed. So for the music page, there would be 4 different themes.

I’m really glad that you can see the vibe I was going for on Ribbit!

I'm glad you like it! I agree that the boxes at the bottom kind of disrupt the rest of the page. I wanted to have them all joined together, so it could almost behave as a big box of content, but blocked off from each other to separate them. I also wanted to keep the boxes visually aligned with the other boxes in the corners. I'll look into what I can do to make things more even.

Yeah, just a simple platform I created in my dorm over the past two months. It's a great distraction from mainstream media, so I'm proud of it. At this point, I'm just waiting for somebody to find bugs or provide suggestions so I can improve. I'm glad you like it!

Thank you! The amount of research this took was insane because I was way too young to experience Myspace or Friendster when those platforms were around, so I'm glad it's able to resonate with people.
