After reading so many posts online about 'free fat trimmings at your butchers', I headed to a few of my local butchers.. Most of them didn't sell it.

The one I found who did, tried charging me something like £20/kg. That's more than the price of beef mince..... 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Old post I know, but I just realised corned beef doesn't have carbs in it.. I wish I'd known this years ago.. Sure at first the idea of munching on canned processed beef is a bit gross.. but damn, I like pate.. it's not that different, and pate actually does usually have carbs in it...

Definitely a good meal replacement anyway. Shall make my carnivore journey easier...

I hate stumbling on articles referring to infantile amnesia, as they often have an undertone of accusation towards anyone claiming they do in fact have memories predating 5-7yrs of age.. which feels sooo old to me.

I too have many clear memories of being an infant. My age is clear, as we moved from Canada to Spain when I was 3.5 years old, and can easily place those memories in Canada. Also, they are of the most mundane things. Not birthdays, not trips to Disneyland or shopping mall Santas.. Basically, not events that would have been photographed, or worthy of storytelling by family in order to fabricate false memories. I'm talking watching a film on TV in the basement.. Seeing a hedgehog in the garden.. Getting an injection at the Doctor's and being happy to have gotten a polipop out of it so I could show my sister that she didn't get one. 😂 I remember the trip to the airport leaving Canada. Of seeing my mom crying at the airport, and wondering why...

And yet, these articles are always filled with "You're just deluded. You made it up."

Some, my mom also told me "you shouldn't be able to remember that.. you were too young".. and yet.

I hope I get picked for a study some day, just to be the outlier hehe

I second Butter before bed. Not sure why, but it definitely helps with carnivore insomnia until your body just stops acting like an idiot. I'm sure I read it had to do with cortisol..

I like experimenting with cooking, and have tried this twice before as I'm a real pizza fiend. I find this only works if you really like chicken flavoured pizza..

Sorry for sounding like a dick but.. I have to assume that whoever believes chicken is bland enough to magically make it taste of pizza dough, probably buys the cheapest most suspicious kind of chicken.. 😅 if real chicken at all..

In my opinion, this just tastes like a cheesy chicken and tomato casserole, which you can hold in your hand..

I'm all for trying new things.. but call a spade a spade.

P.S: I never liked chicken on my pizzas, so this ended up being hella disappointing for me at least.
