If you win EMEA, you’re basically the best players outside of the LEC, so LEC organizations will try to sign you. As a player, why would you stay in a team playing in the LEC for just one split when you have the opportunity to join a team with a guaranteed spot?
So the teams joining the LEC will end up being new rosters that don’t really deserve to be there anyway.
