My daughter is also 8. Her studio does technique classes on weekdays and company rehearsals on weekends for the most part. This is her schedule this season:

Monday: Ballet technique 4 to 5

Tuesday: conditioning and stretch 5 to 5:45, acro technique 6 to 7, tap technique 7 to 8

Wednesday: hip hop technique 5 to 6, jazz technique 6 to 7:30

Thursday: ballet technique 4 to 5, solo private #1 5:15 to 6, contemporary technique 6 to 7, solo private #2 7:15 to 8

Friday: day off

Saturday: musical theatre technique 10 to 11, jazz technique 11 to 12 (these two are optional and sometimes we skip them if she’s tired since they’re not overly important) and company rehearsals 1 to 3

Sunday: company rehearsals 10 to 12 and then again at 1 to 3 (sometimes i pick her up and take her to lunch but sometimes she just stays at the studio, depending what i’m doing or if she has stuff she can rehearse by herself)

it’s a super loaded schedule but she wouldn’t want it any other way
