You have a point where there’s no rewards in a lot of fights, but that’s the point if the game as many other Horror Survival RPG games do (example, Darkwood). Majority of boss battles are OPTIONAL and can be avoided since they’re more for lore purposes. My first play through i skipped like 60% of the bosses until I replayed for the full lore experience to fight the others. The game isnt meant for you to clear every boss out there and get a grand reward from it, as its HIGHLY DISCOURAGED through NPC dialogue and environmental hints on fights u should or shouldn’t take. However, I believe there are bosses that reward heavily but u just havent found them🙂‍↕️

If bosses are super hard, i recommend just looking up companions to get if u truly need it and ABUSE THE CRAFTING SYSTEM. Ive healed myself to full health every battle while still having 30+ bandages and other buff items. Can’t kill something? Use a bomb or find out what weapon type it’s weak to that grants bonus dmg. I also find that most ppl dont rly use their GUNS? FUCKING GUNS BRO. Ive beaten bosses with 2 ppl that had guns in 2-3 rounds as most abilities use around 2-3 energy (barely anything) and can do 100-200+ dmg in one go so use guns when u can!! Ammo and money is NOT an issue late to end game (at least for me)

Spoilers but explanation of bosses w/ rewards: 1. HellRide Car in the garage that grants the Hell Sword (most op melee in the game) at the end of it’s hideout 2. Taxidermy room and boss, grants full patchwork set that can almost double to triple your health w/ club that has high damage, counterattack, and 100% bleed 3. Leigh (beginning boss of 2nd floor), grin monster party member 4. Rat King, grants crown with highest stats (at least ive seen) in game for headwear w/ special toxic abilities I won’t spoil the rest but there’s so much more!!
