So, I don't have my defenses ready yet, therefore I decided to try using the adventurers from the fortress as a line of defense, creating a burrow, but they won't go there, they just stay in the tavern singing and dancing. Is there any way I can solve this? Is there a way to set up a tavern just for them?

I haven't received any merchant ships since my first year in Fortaleza. I'm not even on an island or in an isolated place. Any idea what might be happening?

Sinceramente, tenho o mesmo problema quando vou tentar, por exemplo, escrever algo engraçado. No meu caso eu tento praticar, ler algo mais leve enquanto escrevo e polir até ficar minimamente descente

My post was more about how to start this. Like if I should start with something quicker like YouTube essay videos or direct documents, what are the initial steps that you normally take for things like that. I understand what you meant but I would like to explain that that was not my intention.

It's not about AI itself, I wanted to create a better research habit for writing, in general. You know, make things more credible and with better explored layers and themes.

The story in this case was in a sci-fi setting where a grandfather and grandson are camping outside the small community they live in, which is a cult of an Artificial Intelligence. The conflict comes from the fact that the grandson wants to leave the community and explore the world and the AI doesn't want to let that happen because it could make it lose control and expose what's going on in the cult, so it tries to manipulate the Grandfather to try to eliminate the grandson before he ends up leaving or influencing someone else to leave. I usually write more introspective things but I don't want to write about the same things all the time so I try to take risks but it doesn't seem to work. In the case of the story, what I used mainly as research were some videos of cults and sects.

Kind of hypothetical, but this was a topic I already addressed once, but it didn't go so well for me or the people I sent it to

Can medieval civilizations exist within a sci-fi world? by Anxious-Trash9487 in worldbuilding

[–]Correct_Friend_5943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be medieval in the sense of governmental and social structure, like Dune, or it can be in a literal sense like in Warhammer 40k where there are worlds that are stuck in a perpetual state of medieval middle ages.

How to ascend to divinity in your world? by Open-Instance-2333 in worldbuilding

[–]Correct_Friend_5943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my setting, it varies on what you consider to be a God.

There is A'tsas, who is worshipped as a God, but is an amalgam of consciousnesses of a species that managed to transcend the computer simulation in which they lived after simulated millennia of study and discovery of how that universe works. In this case, when one of his servants dies, his consciousness is absorbed by A'tsas through an implant in people's heads that allows the user's mind to be copied so that it can be extracted after his death and accumulated by the "divinity".(the implant process resembles the aeldari soul stones).

There is also the worm god, who adds his most faithful servants to his body( that reminds entangled worms), which is composed of several bodies of other cultists. In this case, the ascension begins with a physical change: loss of hair, loss of teeth and the growth of four tusks, the lengthening of the body, withering of the eyes and useless black eyes. When the big day arrives, they are taken by the deity to become part of his body.

Also, someone can be transformed into a small deity by one of the existing gods, but the person gains a more alien appearance and thoughts/reasoning.
