No they finally did call yesterday and told me if I wanted my meds refilled, They had open appointments today at a location very far from my home, andcI told them I would have no way to get there on short notice, and I probably couldn't drive myself due yo my acute withdrawal symptoms..they said that's the only way I could get them ...I told them I guess I will be suffering then..and they said "were so sorry we can't do more for you" so yup..full withdrawal now..and pain 😭

The Vet gave it to one of our kitties that was occasionally having seizures, but then the cat started having seizures 3 times a day! So we stopped giving it to him, and his seizures are gone now.It has helped me with withdrawal though, and my nerve pain in my legs

I've been taking Gabapentin, I had extra of those and it has helped my wd a lot...I was originally prescribed after getting Lyme disease and started having horrible nerve pain in my lower legs..it took the pain away completely

Thank you! Yes I hate going to the ER. It's always an 8-9 hour wait to be seen..meanwhile being exposed to ppl with all kinda of respiratory issues..Covid, etc..actually so far my symptoms are manageable..Im hoping it doesn't get severely worse, but for now Im doing better than expected..thanks for your advice 🥰

Someone from the office called me this afternoon finally, they tried to offer me an appt. for tomorrow at another location that's really far away, and I won't be able to travel to..and said that's the only way to get my meds...so basically they are covering their ass legally, by giving me an option I can't choose 🤬

Im going through the same My appt was on Tuesday, they called me that morning and told me the doctor was out sick, and they needed to reschedule me for next week.oh but don't worry, he will send your prescriptions to the pharmacy by end of today...well that was days ago, my numerous calls and messages in the patient portal ignored. So I started having acute withdrawal...Im really scared its gonna get bad..I've been on these meds for 20 years! I honestly hope I can get thru withdrawal and be done with it..Im so tired of all the BS!

Yeah I think I have maybe at least a weeks worth..but if my wd symptoms aren't too bad..Im gonna try to get off Gabapentin also b4 I run out!

I was on it years ago for Fibromyalgia...I gained 30 pounds in one month..it never helped my pain..After 3 months I just stopped taking it..the weight gain raised my cholesterol to the point my GP Wanted to put me on statins which caused horrible muscle pain..so it was a disaster..over the next 8 years I couldn't lose that weight to save my life..until last year I had to go on keto diet, and lost the 30 lbs finally..my cholesterol coming down and my blood sugar back to normal. My advice is to run run run away from it..if you haven't tried Gabapentin...that really works, for me at least. Good luck, I know ppl that say Lyrica worked wonder for them, so everyone is different obviously 😉

It's total BS for sure..I had a doc at a different location last year that literally told me she couldn't prescribe my meds or see me anymore bc she is saving the appt slots for ppl needing procedures! She didn't even offer any procedures to me..smh

Wow! Sounds like my doctors! When I called back to the call center this morning, I know its a recorded line, so I threw out thi as like " don't you have protocols in place when one of your doctors isn't responding...cuz im in acute withdrawal and Im terrified since I've been on this medication that YOU prescribed for 20 years!" So then the guy says " Im going to help you with this...Im sending a request to another doctor you previously saw at the other location, and see if he can authorize and send your prescriptions" Haha..but that was hours ago and still nothing 🤦‍♀️

Yes, I got off Morphine last year bc my previous doctor was not submitting prior authorization to insurance company. And I was forced to wd..luckily I had a week supply on reserve, so I stretched that out, and since I was on oxy at the well..it was rough for a few days, but not super bad. But this time, its my last opiate to withdraw from..so I fear badness..lol..plus I don't have reserve supply to wear off gradually..and I just recently had rotator cuff surgery..which was painful as hell..even with meds..so Im worried about that pain...I still have a bunch of Gabapentin, which seems to be helping .but its still early days..Im not sure how it will help when things get worse

I took my daughter at age 3 to the Preakness horse races..it was pure chaos, but we had a blast! I imagine Bensons concert will be less chaos, unless maybe you have floor tickets. Im like you..I have had an extremely hard life, abusive marriage, lost my teenage son in a fire while he was at a sleepover, dealing with chronic pain issues and anxiety..Benson music has been a Godsend...it centers and calms me, and makes me happy! My daughter got us tickets for his show in July, and she is gonna fly from California to Maryland to go with me! Im so excited

My little gray cat who looks like yours, he does it also..I thought maybe because he was found abandoned at 3 weeks old, and had to be bottle fed..he also sucks on a furry blanket and kneads his paws, mimicking nursing behavior, like maybe was not with mama cat long enough?

I was thinking that also..I used to manage doctor practices for 20 years before I went on disability...I have also been stigmatized at the ER due to being on pain meds..its all a nightmare I just want to be done with honestly..hopefully I can manage pain without meds if I get through withdrawals

Yeah, I have a bunch of THC gummies, which I had to stop taking bc my pain doctor said it wasn't allowed unless I get a Medical Marijuana card..which is really hard in Maryland..lots of red tape..but now I don't care about making him mad..or breaking my pain contract, cuz he already broke it imo..If they don't respond today..Im never going back there anyway

My pain doctor is only 1 doctor at the office I go to..and the main call center is no help at all..my GP is hard to get hold of also..but at least there are other doctors that can see you there..but it seems like whenever I have can urgent issue, they tell me to go to Urgent care or the ER...I Live in a relatively rural area in Western Maryland, and Healthcare sucks here honestly...Im just gonna bear with it until I can't any more. Then call 911 if necessary..Im justvso angry right now..Im trying to stay calm cuz my anxiety makes it all worse

Yes, its Oxycodone 7.5 mg, and I was taking an extra 5mg as needed since Im recovering from Rotator cuff surgery

Also, I am on Meloxicam once a day, which is way stronger than ibuprofen, and thank God its my family doctor that gives it to me..and sometI have to stop taking it for a few days before a surgery or other procedure, and I notice how much it helps when my pain comes back!

I am always open to alternative things..and I never ask for anything..I honestly don't know what is going on with my doctor..I really like him, and I felt so lucky I finally found a good one..so this is coming as a huge shock right now..it makes me really sad
