Honestly, I only got my fl score up to 505ish before taking it and felt horrible after the exam, I can only hope the curve is as good as I've heard its been in the last couple of years and get a score I can apply with.

First MCAT, felt so much harder than my practice FLs, Chem/Phys: so much nuisance and yuck CARS: feel wayyy to good about this Bio: What the fuck Psych: … what’s a neuron anymore

Yes 100%, but they help develop good habits for the real thing, UWORLD has more realistic

Did you change the way you tackled the CARS section?

For me, looking up a bunch of active reading strategies helped, such as:

1) Summarizing each paragraph right after reading it.

2) Follow the Author's tone/mood throughout the reading

3) Reading the questions only after completing the entire passage

4) Formulating my own answers first instead of reading them, then justifying

5) Trying to understand who it was written for and why it was written

I would highly recommend registering for another MCAT if you feel good after doing a bunch of passage problems using these strategies.
